Please use this post for discussion about the Gosselins that doesn't have a better spot elsewhere. Also please remember that while Gosselin discussion is fading (which is a good thing), this blog is for Gosselins only. We will continue as long as Kate is seeking public attention for those who wish to comment.

To start us off:

The facility name is easy to find online but I will not post it. I live about an hour away from it.

How do you go about finding the name of the facility Collon is in?

Duggarsbegone said...

Google "zelienople pa revokes facility license". It should be the first listing that pops up.

Duggarsbegone said...

It was revoked in 2015, then went on a provisional license, and the state is now revoking and looking to shut them down permanently.

According to Radaronline, Collin is in a facility outside Philadelphia, right?

Collin looked so unhappy and seemed afraid to open his mouth during this episode. I also caught a couple "dagger stares" from him to Kate. He must really be hurting inside.

So Collin will be the one to write the scathing tell all book on Kate in a few years- I look forward to buying it!

The Reason Behind Collin Gosselin's Rare Kate Plus 8 Appearance

Kate Gosselin‘s son Collin made a surprise appearance on the season finale of Kate Plus 8 this week.

Collin, 12, has been enrolled in a program away from home to help him reach his full potential and was absent from the recent season of the reality show, which chronicles Kate’s life at home with her 16-year-old twins Mady and Cara and 12-year-old sextuplets. However, Collin appeared on Tuesday’s episode in a family game night scene, as well as a joint interview with his two brothers Joel and Aaden.

For the most part, Collin remained relatively quiet, allowing his siblings to do most of the talking, though still engaging in the game trivia.

Fans have been speculating about Collin’s appearance, and now, a source confirms to PEOPLE the scene was filmed before he was enrolled in the program.

“The reason he was on the show is that it was shot before he went away,” says the insider, “and sometimes footage airs out of order.”

I'm praying the kids will heal from the adversity in their lives and go forward being strong and healthy mentally and physically.

So the headline for In Touch today (January 11, 2017) about the show on January 10th is:

But, from the article above ^^^^ he is not back--the Game Show episode was filmed before he left.

I read the articles about the facility. It's been punished, and now having its license revoked and being closed for: lax supervision, sexual abuse of the boys, a suicide that went unnoticed for a while and a heroin overdose, vicious fights among other things.

This is a school to help 12 yr old Collin (from a little town and a private school in PA) with his "special needs" ?????? Where Kate says she enrolled him "in a program away from home that is helping him reach his full potential — and she recognizes now that it’s “precisely what he needs.” PRECISELY WHAT HE NEEDS???????

This sounds very much like a school for delinquent pre-teens and teens. I thought it sounded like a prison when not a special needs school when I first read about Collin having to spend Thanksgiving there, with no "pass" to go home for the day, and no visitors under 18 allowed.

BTW I watched the 16th bday episode last night---Mady is fresh, awful, rude, mouthy. Cara worries me greatly because she doesn't speak, but also because she say she "doesn't care" about just about everything (as a former middle school/high school teacher, this raises a HUGE red flag for me: no affect).

However the worst one is Kate, crying, flipping out, acting manic and then depressed, truly crazy, in my opinion. Very scary.
