I thought the article was lovely and quite appropriate. Steve I. seemed less into the cute cuddly animals that Kate was holding, and much more into the animals with teeth and venom, like crocs and snakes. Crocs and snakes eat cute cuddly animals, Kate is pictured holding one. I get it!
Although crocs and snakes abandon their young pretty early (with the croc hanging around the hatch-lings the longest)neither exploit their young for fame. But there were still some great photos. I think we should let Kate have her spotlight for a few more minutes. It just goes to show Steve Irvine did pass on to his family not to be afraid of anything!!!!
Prior to this trip, photos showed a saggy droopy faced K8. It looks like she is heavily botoxed in the forehead and has possibly had cheek implants and a little work done in the eye area. There is no other explanation for the "new" full youthful look. After a substantial weight loss the facial area doesn't magically recover to a full look on it's own. There definitely was some serious work done here. She must have come into some serious bucks or the grifting is continuing big time.
Where to begin? First off, nice cellulite, Kreider. The tree trunks are still there when not strapped into toe-strangling stilettos. And spiffy extensions, Kreider. They are clear as day in the photo above.
I am honestly saddened when I look at pictures of Kate anymore.....she is beginning to get that kind of weird, creepy look that people get when they do too much plastic surgery. I don't know what she has had done, but she just doesn't look pretty and fresh anymore. She looks tired, over-processed, over-bleached, over-tanned and a million other things. NOTHING looks real or good about her now. I thought that she was very pretty when she had the shorter hair and was doing the speaking engagements. You may or may not have lke that particular haircut, but she did look put together and pretty overall. Now, it all just looks fake, and yucky and phony. I HATE it when women try to look like they are 21 when they're not. I think it ages them and makes them look foolish and pathetic, and desperate. I personally think that Kate would find more job offers, and more self-esteem in general, if she just backed off from this obsession she has with her looks and just lived a more normal life. It is a very pathetic thing to see a woman who used to be more maternal and at least a little bit more loving, lose that part of herself. She doesn't even realize it, but SHE is the one who is sabbotaging and ruining her own life.

Does she fantasize that there is something between them and enjoy the speculation? I think. But as a man, I cannot fathom another man liking her. She is everything a guy does not want. I think he has found his niche in guarding her, which has turned out to pay handsomely. I think he will keep this up, convincing her that she needs his protection, until there is no money left. Then he'll be gone. So my bet is there is a one-sided attraction, and he will only be there for as long as there's a paycheck. But I guess we'll see...
Agree that Kate was once a very attractive woman, with a lovely fresh look about her. Now, she looks unnatural because she is - the face she has now is the result of all sorts of cosmetic procedures. To me, she looks generic and boring. She no longer stands out in the crowd.
In fact, I read comments under the pictures taken on her "first day" at Coupon Cabin, and several were exclaiming how much more attractive a dark-haired female employee was instead of Kate. Seeing the two women side by side, I couldn't help but be struck by the more natural beauty (and suitable attire) of the dark haired woman vs. Kate in her hot pink dress, 90's French manicure and bleached blond hair. As Nina Garcia would say (from Project Runway), her "taste level is questionable."
I did a little bit of Googling to see if any details were out about the bidding on "lunch with Kate" but I couldn't find anything. I saw some unconfirmed reports that the bidding wasn't very high and the lunch was awkward.

Have you noticed how happy Kate looks in all the pictures coming out of Australia? She NEVER looks that happy when she's with her kids. And the loving way she looks at Steve - I've never seen her look at any of her kids like that. Most of the time, she is either scowling or screaming at them.

Just wanted to let you know that you are not alone, although I have a slightly different take, especically after the special she did while filming DWTS (a day in the life of Kate, or whatever it was called). The way Steve handles her; and the way she reacts, I think she sees him as an athority/father figure. Something she needs since she has abandoned the rest of her family. And he acts like he as absolutely no interest in her at all. You are right, he found his money bag, and he acts like a highly paid babysitter not a lover. I see no romance between them at all. Steve is also smart, and knows the $$ are dwindling, and I'm sure he is looking for his next gig.

Also, you can tell when she is being interviewed that she is very nervous and that she is trying to sound like she knows what she is doing, but she really hasn't put any work into improving her speaking skills and that comes across loud and clear. She just does not get the fact that you cannot get what you want in life without doing the legwork first.
She needs to set her sights on a more realistic career than television or being in the public eye.

In the latest Radar Online pic of them today at the airport, I do not see his wedding ring (maybe it is just my bad eyesight!) and she really does not need a bodyguard anymore. If I was his wife, I would not be putting up with that anymore (especially since the money is not rolling in now) so what IS his motivation if they are not a couple? However, Kate has denied it for so long, she will look like a total liar if she ever admits to an relationship, so any credibility she has will be ruined anyway. But if they ARE involved, I doubt anyone would care that much, so they might as well just admit it and get it over with.

I agree. I also think he makes her feel important. He gives her a sense of security. He's a traveling companion. I don't think that she could make it through an airport without him. She has no clue what to do because she's never done it alone. She's never bought plane tickets; never booked a hotel room. She's always had Jon to help her with travel...or TLC to do the planning and executing of a trip. She doesn't want to have anything to do with the trip other than to be there and smile for the paps. It would require too much work to figure out the logistics of a trip.
Just to shed some light here, alot of us here in central/northeastern PA say "KEN" instead of "CAN"....as in "They KEN do this" or "I KEN do that". So that's not just a fault or peculiarity of Kate alone.

It can be done. At one position I had with the county, I was chosen to make all the recorded messages for the county's phone system. So I know you can change your speech if you choose to do so and work hard at it.
I just think that if you are going to be on national TV, you should learn the proper pronunciations of words and speak articulately, regardless of where you are from. She "ken" talk however she wants to when she is at home, but on air she should try to improve her speaking skills because not everyone enjoys listening to her accent and mispronounced words.
I also find it curious that Jon doesn't seem to have the same accent as she does. I wonder why? I thought they were raised in the same area. Perhaps not.
My goodness Kate. Can you say "split ends"? And I thought that weave or extensions or fake whatever hair was going to fly right off her head! You'd think all that money could buy better hair color and better quality looking extensions. But the thing I noticed most in a couple of those pics was her neck. I guess that's the result of too much sun but I am 65 and my neck doesn't look that bad. She certainly isn't aging well. Enough snark from me and I will say it was so nice to see Steve's family. Love them!

Did you find a list of all the prices for the bid items? The reason I ask is I do volunteer work with a charity that does auctions 2 or 3 times a year. We don't release an item by item list of all the bids. For the public we provide a total. In the press release we will sometimes give a range and maybe name what the top one or two items were, but never give out the info for all of the items. Not that we are hiding it. Anyone that attended th auction heard the bid prices. It's just that most people aren't interested in seeing an item by item list when you have say, 100 bid items. So we put enough it the press release to try and keep interest in our auctions. Maybe other charities publish everything. I haven't really checked around.
Geez, she looks terrible, doesn't she? I've come to the conclusion that her idea of having a hard time supporting her family and my idea of having a hard time supporting my family are entirely two different things. Nice to know the kids had some time off with Jon.
Has Jon or Kate tweeted that the kids had some time with him? Last I heard, she tweeted that there was no truth to the article (Fuller) that said she left the kids with him. For all we know, they spent the week with the nanny.
I can barely recognize her face in these pictures. What the heck did she do to it? And that horrible, straw-like hair. She had looked different and better minus the tan only three years ago, predating the 2009 alien haircut.
It looks like her face and hair are evolving to match her real inner personality: Hard & bitter & grasping.
IIRC, it was Jon that tweeted about the kids with him, the Fuller article. He said that the source was incorrect.

I too thought Kate looked very attractive on her first book tour. She was dressed nicely, fresh faced and "the hair" looked o.k. from the front.

It is so true that proper English and pronunciation is all important if you desire a career in the media. I can't even begin to figure out how to spell the way she pronounces the word "ON", ummm, like maybe "aaawon"(ish)?

I couldn't agree more. If you are trying for a career in the media, you should really learn how to pronounce things properly and lose the regional dialect. People across the country are not going to be familiar with your particular dialect and frankly I find her pronunciations to be very annoying.
She just does not seem to want to do the work required to have a career in television. Everyone has to pay their dues. The children have paid theirs, Jon paid his by being married to her and now, it is her turn. If she wants a career in television, then she needs to do the work to perfect her craft. You can't just say I want a talk show and one is handed to you.

Did you find a list of all the prices for the bid items? The reason I ask is I do volunteer work with a charity that does auctions 2 or 3 times a year. We don't release an item by item list of all the bids. For the public we provide a total. In the press release we will sometimes give a range and maybe name what the top one or two items were, but never give out the info for all of the items. Not that we are hiding it. Anyone that attended th auction heard the bid prices. It's just that most people aren't interested in seeing an item by item list when you have say, 100 bid items. So we put enough it the press release to try and keep interest in our auctions. Maybe other charities publish everything. I haven't really checked around.

I've come to the conclusion that her idea of having a hard time supporting her family and my idea of having a hard time supporting my family are entirely two different things.

Has Jon or Kate tweeted that the kids had some time with him? Last I heard, she tweeted that there was no truth to the article (Fuller) that said she left the kids with him. For all we know, they spent the week with the nanny.
I can barely recognize her face in these pictures. What the heck did she do to it? And that horrible, straw-like hair. She had looked different and better minus the tan only three years ago, predating the 2009 alien haircut.
It looks like her face and hair are evolving to match her real inner personality: Hard & bitter & grasping.
IIRC, it was Jon that tweeted about the kids with him, the Fuller article. He said that the source was incorrect.
We have to remember, kate constantly thinks about lying, constantly lies to cover her previous lies and lies to put herself in good light and Jon in bad light.

No one knows how many it was or what the 'FINE' was to dine with her, but we do know they were...wait for it (like she always says)... they were AMAZING! This is her word of the week to be used in every sentence for the rest of her life. ummm, like, if it's ummm appropriate or not so much.
