Wow. Done with the Australia/New Zealand footage already? I thought they'd at least get four-five episodes out of that. :rollseyes.

Oh, please, TLC, show us more footage of K8G being as obnoxious as she was to the poor schmuck who got stuck trying to ready her for the big "Kate Faces Her Fear" (again) bungee jump fiasco.

We love seeing this woman embarrass our whole country as THE Ugly American.

We love how she claims victory over fears despite her carrying on like a spoiled child, crying, flapping her hands like a wounded bird, and our favorite: blaming everyone around her for not knowing how to help her.

No one EVER knows how to help her. K8G, it's not everyone else failing here. It. Is. YOU.

To K8G in her own words, "Go away. You're annoying me."

Wasn't she reported to have been very rude to the guard at the Liberty Bell? Will we see that? Did she e-mail him an apology? It's only been a few months since was there! There's still time!

Kate was busy tweeting all day about having a twitter party tonight at 10 pm to see the Philly episode. She did not realize that she had been preempted for Royal Wedding hoopla.

It was funny to see... her begging everyone to see her live tweet at 10 pm and then at 10 pm having to say "oh, we are not on... going to bed. see you next week"

Made my day.

I remember the pics of them on the steps with her dressed just like Jamie. I wonder if in some of the footage they will shwo Jamie from behind running up stairs and pretends it's Kate. Maybe Jamie was hired as bf because she is acting as a Kate stand in and looks like her.

I can't imagine TLC doing this. They know that viewers aren't stupid enough not to know the difference between Jamie from the rear and Kate. Two different body builds. Then again, you never know what TLC will try to do.

Won't be watching. If I want to see Philly, I will go there and get the correct info, not Kate Gosselin's interpretation, of history, which she will surely make a mockery of and make a scene, and make it all about her. The only good news is that nothing of K8 is scheduled after May 2. I also see that TLC is doing a marathon, of all recent episodes. They must be DESPERATE!

Philadelphia Worker said...

Just how many Philadelphia area dwellers do you think are going to waste their time to watch, what is exactly you and your own kids run around Philly doing, when you do.

Of course, you don't want them "to act out and you will not tolerate disrepectful behavior to those who guard these monuments" You will see that with Kate and her 8, not necessarily the twins. But she reves them up, getting them to act out. That makes film.

How do I know, remember me Philadelphia Worker? Did you know that TLC asked the Art Museum if they could go in on a tour? Yes, the Gosselin 8. I know, my friends work there too. TLC was denied, but told they could film the steps, do the Rocky Run, but nothing else on the steps, no lunch, no food. They were being watched.

A lot of us go to the Oval, sit on the Art Museum steps on a day like today in the 80s and we eat lunch. Never a problem.

See people who work in all of these Historical places this show is about were abused by TLC, Kate's ignorance and the tups, that she got reved up to misbehave. Oh yes, she does that.

If you watch, you hurt your city, you hurt us, hard workers.

We have pride in Philadelphia. Katie Kreider Gosselin doesn't respect her own children, her former husband, her family and not you anyone who watches her show.

She is a low life for what she went to Australia and did. Then on to New Zealand and again, she insults people.

Take her to NY and spend money on her TLC, buy her shoes at Aldo, not Barneys, of course.

She should stop jogging those roads where she runs. She should tighten the security on those kids and she should probably hire more security.

She advertisers her children to every sicko out there. Yet, Katie Kreider Gosselin thinks she is making money for their education.

10 years from now, we will see where the money is, how it is spent and where those children are.

How sad, that some of those children are not TV personalities and have an adversion to being filmed. They are not happy. Collin still is not really filmed.

One of the twins walks with her arms wrapped around herself, in a quiet mood. She is not enjoying any of this. This is more of children being forced, forced, forced to film.

What happens when Moma Kreider doesn't get her way with those kids, huh?

Lord knows what goes on in that house.

Thank God Jon is there and the family he has and the extended family that swarm around those kids, when he gets them and he can tell them, it is almost over.

Jon, don't say you don't watch that show. Watch what your children are going thru with your breast implanted hooker former wife, you need all of this for the courts.

Jane in California said...

I don't know if it was Jamie or another woman, but I do recall that there was someone present during the Philly filming, dressed like Kate, who did some of the filming running up the stairs with the kids. I am pretty sure that person was filmed from behind and was used as a "stunt double" since Kate is too lazy to run up and down stairs (although she has no compunction about making her 8 children do so, time and again, til TLC gets just the shot they want).

That is Kate all over - kids have to work hard to support her, but she herself gets to sit out and let a double do the work. I guess they couldn't finagle that for the sky jump though lol.

Why should she stop running? I don't understand what her running has to do with the kids' security. I'm sure that if one of the twins runs with her part way, someone is there to make sure that she gets home safely.

I didn't watch the show, but saw some clips and Collin definitely was filmed. He's also seen in all of the group photographs on location in Australia and New Zealand. Could you give some examples in which Collin was left out of the filming? Thanks.

I have always wanted to see a schreeking woman dressed like a hooker, boobs flopping, 4 inch heels, smacking gum, with 8 sad children tagging behind her touring Philly. NOT! Won't be watching. Hoping for even less viewers than before. Actually, I will never know why anyone would watch (except one person to tell us how ridiculous it all was.)

Reading Observer said...

Yes, she should put more security on those children. I work in social work.

Why shouldn't Kate jog the same roads, tits flailing, no hat, no garb to hide her real identity? Are you dreaming?
She needs to be taken off the air.
The kids need to be taken off the air. The kids need, more than you or me understand, normalcy in their lives.Children never want to be different than other children. They don't want to stand out and they don't want their mothers/fathers to stand out. They go between making "poor Mommy in a pile on the ground after jumping as though she was dead, what a fright" to Mommy showing no respect to anyone to Mommy probably telling the kids that while they are at Jon's that she will be all alone, lonely. Oh yes. That is Kate's control.

Sure Collin is filmed, but how often does he sit on that sofa? He lays sideways, he doesn't look at the camera. Lord knows how he has been affected that he was "pulled out" of school due to medical conditions. More like he was scared and still is scared when separated from his MOM. He is not comfortable being around others who stare at him, unless he is with a group of his family. Make sense?

Does to me, I feel that has a lot to do with his behavior, never met him, did not diagnose, but some kids who are told "we" "we" "we" have no individuality.

Those twins had Jon's help in helping to distinguishing themselves as individuals at an early age, which you must do. Whether they look alike or not, they are individuals. Kate does not allow that. Does not seem to either. Who is the dancer, singer or the musician or the gymnast with the tups? NONE...the twins have that and they have grown up so fast, so very fast that they walk with guilt, worry. I watched Cara run to Joel, help Joel, mother Joel. Kate never mothers, she holds a child only when she has to.

Bad enough she dressed them alike all the time, but they also have a school uniform. I would not doubt that as much as the teachers at that school worked with him, they cannot erase the "we" concept from Collin, so not with all siblings and Mommy, there is something wrong with his thinking about making friends with other kids/affection for teachers.

All children in school have a favorite teacher, a favorite friend.

Kate would tell her 6,you all stay together, stay away from others, you are all alike, etc. Not that I know that, but I don't doubt that.
If she took part in your children's schooling, your children don't have problems.

JMO and I don't expect to keep discussing this, honestly. I see it in his manner on that sofa. He is not the joking Joel or Aaden. He is rarely on that sofa. When he is, he is serious, pretty much just answering,no animation. Sad to me.

Can you imagine being programmed to believe you cannot "breathe" unless you are with your other 5 births?

Frightening to a child.

Yes, time for TLC to take the family off of TV, let those kids get the help they need and will need in the future as Paul Peterson has said.I believe that man knows more about those children then we will ever know, as he was contacted by a member of that school, oh yes he was, when 2 of the tups had problems and it was not Jon or Kate's family.

The school is not going to make a statement, they cannot, but they do not like what Kate does. She has flown in with Steve, flew out. Never attends PTM, never. Does not talk to teachers, sat in a room, listening to why her children had some problems, what to do. She had to show up for that meeting and that my friends, is actually inside information. She didnot like being told her children would have to leave (2 of them) but said, "no statements and I will talk to the public about this"......so where are Collin and his sister comfortable? At home with Mom.

Again, JMO. End the shows.

It always amazes me that just because something or someone isn't seen on a photograph that one assumes that it's not there or doesn't happen. Does anyone really think that when Cara runs with Kate and doesn't make the entire run that Kate sends her back to the house by herself?

Oh, and yes...I have seen someone following in a car. I have also seen someone running on the other side of the road. The photos zoom in on Kate...not a panorama of the area. I have never seen Cara running with Kate, so I don't know how they arrange that. Of course I've only seen Kate out running twice, but both times there has been someone with her. If Kate has someone there with her, wouldn't it logically follow that she is not going to allow a 10-year-old child to run alone?

Kate does dumb things, but I really cannot see her allowing her daughter to be out on the road alone...not at ten years of age.

Mickie said...

Why does she need security when she runs? If she was kidnapped, who would pay to get her back? The kidnappers would regret it.

so sad said...

Reading, your post makes me sad too. I have noticed on the show how kind and protective and maternal those twins can be to their younger siblings. Little things. Sweet, but heartbreaking that Cara, for instance, sat on the stairs with one of her little brothers with her arms protectively around him. It made me uncomfortable. Even though no one appeared to be in trouble with Kate at the time. Most siblings don't feel the need to comfort and protect each other the way those kids do. Most kids have the luxury of absolute comfort within their own home; they feel safe, unlike the G8, who are at the mercy of their mother's moods and self-serving demands. And I have noticed that Collin is a darling boy, but perhaps wound the most tightly of all the kids. He frets. He doesn't want to break the arbitrary rules and get in trouble. Remember when he CRIED with worry on camera because he got a little dirt on his brand new Timberland boots after running the bases at the ballpark with his brothers? Jon had to tell him to ease up, that his mom had him worrying over nothing. And I'm sure Kate would have been upset had she been there, that her little boy had dared to get SHOES dirty (they're shoes, bitch, they're supposed to get dirty), even though she probably didn't even pay for them. I'm sure they were charged to TLC as filming expense. Probably got $3 instead of $4 from the consignment shop because of that dirt. (BTW, those stores are a waste of time if you're trying to make money. Better to shop there, not sell. Give the old clothes to a friend who could use them or anyone in need). Those poor kids really lost the mom lottery. Thank goodness for Jon.

I have to give Jon credit - someone posted something hateful on his site saying "Kate, who do you hate more Colin or Mady" and Jon responded, "Guys, don't make comments like that. Do not bring the kids into it." It was just a one off comment - there was no discussion on Kate or any unpleasantness, just some dope saying something hateful. I'm glad Jon drew the line.

Kate has been saying nasty things about men a lot lately, which surprises me as she has 3 boys. Basically, it's "Women are better" blah blah blah. True equality is when we recognize that we are all worthy, smart, and talented. The kids still have a been-there-done-that world-weary attitude. They weren't super appreciative. Also, it was a series of Kate and brood visiting various tourist sites while polite employees do their best to entertain/teach/accomodate the family. Sometimes these people do show the strain, though. It was slow, but I will miss seeing the kids when it's over.

Will the real Kate stand up? She did, next to her Prince at the altar of Westminster Abbey. She was elegant, beautiful, tasteful and smiling.
The epitome of style.
Not so the Kate of the cackle and screech, icy stare, pout, tacky dress and false everything. No wonder T.L.C. did not want to test the effect of Kate vs Kate viewing.
The whole world viewed the fairytale wedding and endless repeats.
This week is the news of the death of Bin Laden and in Canada it is election night.
So who is viewing Katie Irene tonight? We will soon see by the ratings.

The number of comments about episodes around the various blogs usually correlates with the viewership. If that holds true tonight, this one will be the least viewed episode yet. Hardly anyone can muster a comment about it. I keep forgetting that the show is on. I think that's usually a good thing as long as I have gotten the post up.

I just watch my first ever episode of Khate Plus 8 Prisoners, and I jotted down a few comments/questions while watching (and switching back to watch the Nationals beat the Giants) Hope this isn't too long, and yes, I skipped all the vomitritious moments of Khates boy hunt.

Dirty socks on the hands of a child being treated for eczema? Take one for the team?! Yell at him for leaving a sock at his Dad's house? Do they have a single pair that they use every night or something? And a six year old should not have to be responsible for keeping track of something like that. Of course it had to be Joel. What a horrible mother. I would be shocked if this was not the same woman whom made the exact same son lie on a cold, hard floor while he had a fever and was vomiting. And also yelled at him for getting vomit on his comforter. It's really sad that this doesn't shock me any more.

Khate doesn't know how long a presidential term is.

The little girls hair is really short. When did that happen? One of them, I can't tell the difference, looked exactly like Mady with an eye roll head toss combo. Ah, makes me nostalgic for the classic 6 year old Mady.

Did they really need an extra bed? And this couldn't have been thought out beforehand? Why in the world were they setting it up? Hotel people have always done that anywhere I've been. And gee, it must be so hard on Khate to have to find chairs for the kids. What an odd thing to whine about. Last time I checked, you can sit on the bed to eat breakfast, or the couch.

Found it ironic that Collin and Aadan said the Liberty Bell was about "Making their own choices"

Colling pushing Aadan out of the voting booth saying "Your breath is really ugly too."

Khate asking Joel if the Ben Franklin statue he was sitting on was grandpa.

Must they STILL be dressed alike?

They don't know who Obama is? How can this be?

One of the boys said it looked like a hockey game on ice. I wonder if one of the twins plays field hockey? It's very popular in east coast area private schools.

Khate saying she would take away Mady's college fund... What? All 5 bucks?

I was watching another show and had forgotten all about it being on, I happened upon it while flipping during commercials.

In the very little that I saw, the older girls were extremely negative and put out by everything they had to do. Which I can understand, but it doesn't make for interesting television.

I also saw them in some insect place, and BFFJamie and Steve were telling Kate to hold a spider. Steve even offered her $100 to do it. I hope someone else saw this part, because when Steve spoke, I could have sworn I saw the title "Steve Head of Security" at the bottom of the screen. Are they serious?? That gave me the best laugh I've had in a while. I think they made a typo and it should have said "Head of Purse Security."

HEAD OF SECURITY --- yeahhhhh ok sure

The last little part I saw was they were in some sort of activity place for kids and one sheeple says "I love your show" and Kate immediately starts freaking out like they're about to be bum rushed like they're the Beatles or something... she immediately cut the kids' fun short and hustled them out of there. Then as they were leaving there was a group of sheeple on the steps waving to them in the bus and Kate tells the kids to wave, then she snottily says "GEESH" like the "fans" are idiots. I typed fans in quotation marks because I would bet money they were TLC plants.

Kate also said the activity place would have been fun if they were the only ones in there ... gee so sorry you have to go slumming like the rest of us do... I'm sure all of us would like to have places like that for our own family only but it doesn't work that way in the real world!

I hope someone else saw it because I know you all can put these irritated feelings I'm having into words better than I can!

I made it as far as "little Benjamin Franklin man" and turned it off. Why oh why do I hold hope that someday Kate will socialize her children.

"Hi, my name is Kate." Shake his hand. "My children and I (not "me") are so excited to visit your city. How should the children refer to you? Mr. Franklin?"

Show respect and courtesy through out.

At end of trip all children say on their way off the bus, "Thank you, Mr. Franklin."

Anyway - it's not going to happen ever and those children are going to be locked into mediocrity for life if they don't know how to socialize with peers and adults. Cara has a chance and Mady seems to be learning from Mady now. They are adorable children but it still surprises me that the little ones exhibit social and verbal skills of four year olds - or less. All for the show, I guess.

Sharla - can you please post ratings for last night's show? Thanks!

I was very tired last night while watching the show but i couldn't help but notice how stupid and teenager-ish (as Kate would say!) Kate was acting with her supposed BFF Jamie. By the way where has she been all year?!
The were acting like love sick puppy dogs at the Hockey game, Jaime and Kate looking thru the players pictures trying to find a "hot one". NICE, lets browse the men pics while the kids are listening to every word. Not to mention the stupid way she was rubbing up against statues and mocking the shoes they were wearing at the museam. Really, it was like watching a couple of snotty girls from high school.
Maddy is picking up alot of Kate's snooty attitude, especially during the couch interviews. Her manurisms and comments were mirrors of Kate's. "I don't want a Philly Cheesesteak, i want a salad with grilled chicken!!" and her " I just hate fast food of any kind". Sounds more and more like her Mommy.
Cara seems more sullen and withdrawn. I worry about her.
The end of the show, Kate balks at the suggestion of Online dating, saying she is so bad at anything with computers. She doesn't have a Facebook, etc, doesn't even have a printer because she doesn't know how it works??? Really??? That would a lie wouldn't it, if not who is doing all her Tweeting??
It was pathetic last night, it's so totally all about her and i think Cara & Maddy are tired of the upstaging!

Want to first say I watched a re-run of the show. Some VERY strange vibes from the whole thing;

1. Most especially Kate going on and on and ON about being in a room full of "people"--in the chamber filled with statues of the founding fathers. Very disrespectful behavior on Kate's part--cuddling up to them, leaning on them, pretending to look for a husband or a date. Kids followed suit, sitting on one Kate called their "grandfather"--too bad they don't have a REAL grandfather's lap to sit on.

2. Kids always seem "hyped up" in couch interviews--like too much sugar--lots of movement, etc., but in an odd, "see how cute I can be" way.

3. Did you see the couch interview with Mady and Cara? (I had to rewind to be sure Cara was even on the trip). Mady spoke--Cara said nothing. Sad.

4. Why is it that it's always all about KATE, and her loves/fears? As a mother, and now a grandmother, when we go places, it's about the children and their reactions, which I love seeing.

Instead, it's Kate screaming, running, screeching, and then the kids all hugging HER for being brave (or bribed by $100). How old is she --six? Why not praise the kids who did touch the insects, and lovingly encourage the ones who were fearful to try? A repeat of the crocodile ("thank God it didn't eat your mother all up!"/Australia jump ("thank God your mother wasn't killed!") ruckus. Too bad Steve didn't wave a $100 bill in front of her on the top of the building--it would have spared poor Brad a lot of terrible treatment from Kate--she would probably have jumped in a heartbeat!

I also am opposed to showing kids that you'll do things for money--IMHO, it should be for the pride, confidence, bravery, self-esteem.

5. Must also comment on Jamie, the BFF. Were did she come from? According to Kate, she's been her BFF for 9 years? Where has she been all that time? I remember Beth, (who wrote the book now behind Kate in the couch interviews), and whose beautiful property J and K used for family photos and beginning shots of the show, the very sweet and endlessly kind and patient Aunt Jodie, various Nanas (Nana Janet being one). If you had a BFF who evidently can leave her own family to accompany Kate on all these trips, wouldn't she have been seen SOMEWHERE during that time????

6. Ooooh! Just a thought. The "voice" asked Kate at the end if she would do online dating. It just occured to me that maybe this is a set-up for a dating show for Kate?

Something seems odd. No twitter from Kate for over a day. Her last statemens were about being in a place that has no TLC on the tv? I am blown away at how stupid this woman comes across. If she knows anything about healthy and cheese, she would know that Cheese Whiz AND American cheese slices are both "processed" cheeses. Whiz is much more healthy than reg. chedder cheese or american slices. It is just a cheese sauce and an integral part of the famous touted sandwich from her home state.

I know, right? Wasn't that hilarious? I had the misfortune of being stuck in the ER waiting room last night while waiting for a friend who broke their leg, and the TV was turned to Khate and her screechiness. Not only did they refer to Steve as "head of security", I also noticed he had one of those ear buds like the secret service wears..the kind with the little springy cord that goes down behind your ear. Yeah, wonder who's talking to him on that?

So all the kids have eczema? Isn't that kind of odd that all 8 would have it? And putting on a dirty sock on poor Joels hand? Stupid bitch. It wouldn't have hurt him to be without a sock on that hand for the night. And what? The kids only had 1 pair of socks? The "dirty" ones and the ones they wore to bed on their hands? Really? I'm sure all the other guests at the hotel really appreciated the kids running around like wild indians all night. And I hope they charge Khate for dropping the one rollaway bed onto the nightstand while she was trying to set it up. Stupid bitch.

It was so embarrassing to see kate act like a so tired of doing without bimbo with the founding father statues.

She didn't know that geno's and pats have a philly cheesesteak rivalry? what an idiot.

I did notice that her hair was more fluffy than the straight straw that she regulary sports.

So sad to see her say to one of the boys about sitting in Grandpas lap. She must really hate her parents.

She should of bought 5 sandwiches at Pats and 5 at genos and they could of had them cut in half then each person would have one of each to do the contest.

She bought very few and they were all quartered! I didn't really see any drinks. kate, you really really underfeed your children.

If a child eats a good breakfast, they do much better in school academically and behavior wise.

Then she just would not shut up beefing about them using Cheeze wiz on the sandwiches. She acted like it was beneath her. She refused to get it, but guess what.

She was allowed to go into geno's and get her own philly cheesesteak with Cheeze wiz, which I can't believe they did.

I guess jamie, cara and mady had to babysit the kids while Mommy got another freebie.

The viewership must not have been very high. It isn't on the initial list.

Sharla: I think I'm one of the remaining viewers, but what I'm looking for doesn't exist anymore. I want kids who are content with Monkey Munch, as opposed to ungraciously rejecting what's offered to them and demanding a salad. I want a mom who's cute, but not attempting to
look 20. A mom who is also
happy watching just her kids select a pumpkin for Halloween. I want the couple who was happy when the show first started - not perfect, but not what they morphed into. I've said before that I'll miss the kids, but I really already do. The best thing is for the show to end so the kids can recover a normal life.

Shoka - You're right about her beefing about Cheese Whiz...I hope that Kraft is a sponsor of TLC and they pull their business because Cheese Whiz is one of their products. BTW, the only way to have a Philly Cheesesteak is WITH the Cheese Whiz!

The ratings were so bad I put them highlighted in the episode post above. Yes, it was so low Travis thought it was a rerun.

O-Hi-O said...

THANKS for the ratings, Sharla! You just made my day.

Ding dong, the witch is dead (or at least melting, melting...)

Let's hope for a rapid and permanent flush by TLC so we can all be finished with Kate Gosselin.

Despite her absolute lack of talent and charisma, Kate Gosselin received so many opportunities, so many venues, all apparently based on TLC's read of the 'trending'. Kate Gosselin failed at every turn - 'books', solo speaking engagements, cooking, talk shows, and, who could ever forget her foray into dance? So much for TLC's ability to know their potential viewers. So much for Kate Gosselin's supposed stah! power and dubious talent.

Kate Gosselin can now live with the knowledge that SHE was not the draw for that program. She failed miserably once Jon was removed from the equation because Jon, though not a living saint himself, was able to make Kate Gosselin's personality and behavior at least tolerable in small doses. Without him to tone down her behavioral ugliness, it was actually painful to behold her in action.

Next news I hope to hear is that the "mine, all mine!" mansion is up for sale. May those poor 8 kids finally get some semblance of normalcy and privacy.

681,000 viewers. Wow. The show is just a shadow of its former self. It's time to pull the plug. Thanks for the info, Sharla.

Party about the ratings, etc, but no cheese arguments, please. I just can't take that right now.

Ah cheese whiz, Sharla. What's a low ratings party without a little cheesisness? ;-)

*********
When I saw parts of the NZ rerun it also had that stupid statement about Steve. They are really reaching. They know from the rumors of those two that everyone will say, "Oh, there's the boyfriend on her little excursions", so they try to explain it away.

Also, someone said there is no rerun of this but it came on here last night at midnight.

Let this also highlight the fact that producers and execs at TLC know jack squat about what the average woman/mom viewer really wants to see. Their egos got in the way and the refused to see that their bitchy "emperor" had no clothes, i.e., talent, likeability, decency, class, style, you name it - she doesn't have it.

I bet there is a lot of 'splaining going on right now about those viewer numbers. Because they themselves are morally bankrupt, TLC execs find it very hard to understand why Kate is tanking. She's blond, trim, has white teeth and a boob job -- they presume their viewers never look beyond the surface, nor care about whether Kate is a decent person or good mother.

Regarding Kate being nasty and dismissive to fans while on the trip: I can't fathom how her twitter sheeple can watch this and think that she would be nice to them! I think they have it in their heads that one day maybe they will go on a trip with her family or be invited to her home! Not going to happen, people! She is using you for her image and to advertise her show. Nothing more! If she can't talk about her show, twitter will die away for her.

I can't bear to look said...

Isn't this the same family who made such a huge fuss over 4th of July every year? What did they think they were celebrating/honoring? To know so little and have no curiosity is just beyond me. It's such a shallow way to live. The total direpect to the men who shaped this country and the direspect to the venue itself is just gross.

Wow is all I can say about those supposed "fans" of Kates yelling out "You're so beautiful!" & "We love your show!"

Does TLC think we are all a bunch of idiots? I actually laughed out loud when I saw the mob of fans outside the bus yelling at Kate and clan. Pure comedy.

so sick of her said...

What, if you have crackers you need cheese. We can celebrate! I see Kate has not twitter, much today. I can not see that the next episode/show will get any better rating either. Remember the Aussie/NZ trip was the golden show, well that golden show turned to lead and sank. The guy who does the ratings thought the show was a re-run. That is a laugh. And as I had said previously, who wants to see history according to Kate, from what I read, she was mocking, and making a fool of herself at national land marks. She should be a shame of herself, if Kate thinks she is a comedian, with her as the sheeple call her dry-wit, Kate is grossly mistaken. She is not funny or amusing, when she was with Jon she thought she could do a: Sonny & Cher a routine(sitting on the couch and making fun or picking on Jon) or a Donny & Marie. That is not what people wanted to see. Kate wants fame so badly, that she stepped on everyone to try and get it. And yes, she had so many opportunities to take that show to(and I am not talking trips, trips, trips either)she could have been a most beloved mom, like a Martha Stewart, Rachel Ray type, but NOOO Kate wants to be an A-lister. KATE IT WILL NOT HAPPEN! You are not Hollywood material.

I still haven't seen any of this, but thanks Sharla for the ratings
I feel a song coming on: :)

"The party's over,
There were chances you blew,
The viewers tuned in for the kids, when on the skids....not you.

Take off your makeup, here is a spoon,
I'd like to take bets, you'll be gone by June.

The grifting's over, tweeting will not help your pleas.
You can beg all the Sheep, you can wail and can weep
Go to T.L.C. on your knees.

No one cares any more, you're on your own,
Trade in your coupons and pink phone
It's all over, finally over,
Katie Irene!!

Rose said...

The sheeple can't figure it out. Kate quit tweeting and the ratings fell even more than last time when they tried to blame Passover. Just when are they going to face the reality that the rest of the world is bored by their idol and she is on her way out and there may be no more episodes aired and Kate is going to have to relearn how to live a real life?

Philadelphia Worker said...

The pure gratification that I got when I saw the viewer's numbers/ratings is inexplainable. Being a Philadelphia Worker, knowing those people who work so hard to project the pure history/historical feelings you witness/ bear witness to, many centuries after the fact. The city of the beginning of this country being made fun of, people being ignored, the kids acting like there is not only no history in their homes, other than the twins who remained quiet because they did know where they were but are forced into this filming, but the 6 tuplets are not 2 yrs old.

This was an opportunity for TLC to show, especially during Bin Laden's downfall, where the United States began, what this country was founded on, they instead made fun of Philadelphia, PA. A place where people come from all over the World, yes, you come to Philadelphia, PA during the Summer and you hear every language.

Here we have a twit and her brood making fun of people who died for this country, who are immortalized in bronze, but there is a story, a non fiction story that was overlooked due to Kate looking for a husband.

I feel badly for those children, oh yes, someday, those children will still be the youtube.com jokes but hopefully this downfall for Katie Irene Gosselin and her lack of good decisions will not affect the lives of these children as adults.

But this story, The Gosselins will make the greatest comic strip with Katie Irene as the Idiot who blew it.

I don't want to read she is broke, she needs money, she needs work, etc. She will try to work the kids as models, etc. IT HAS ENDED.

Thankfully, as I said before she never, ever fed her fan base, she didn't want to be near her fans. Those fans and those paps are the people who make you look good, keep you in the mags/on the internet/you smile/you stand for 10 minutes and smile and you are looked upon as a person who feeds the paps. You made so many enemies Katie Irene, expecially your original fans. The boobs, the hair, the "me, me, me" and "all mine, all mine" as you threw your husband out. Well, it always comes back to hit you in the face, so watch how you pee into the wind.

Bye bye, bye bye, good ridance!

Just FYI - The only way to have a REAL Philly cheesesteak is to get one from a street vendor cart in the city itself. Most places just use American cheese slices that they lay ontop of the chopped beef (not steakums) and onions while they're still on the hot grill before they put it all on a roll.

“Let this also highlight the fact that producers and execs at TLC know jack squat about what the average woman/mom viewer really wants to see.”

I think the producers got wide-eyed when the E! crowd that rushed over during the initial cheating / divorce scandal and increased the ratings so much, and started catering to them. Dumb move – they were never going to stick around. All they did was alienate regular viewers with this trash. Poor kids.

The kids were barely six years old the last time they celebrated the Fourth of July. I doubt that they knew the entire Revolutionary War history. They were too young this year to appreciate the story of the Constitution, and probably never should have gone there until they could show an interest (and understanding) in the founders of this country.
