I think at one time this was true, but if you look at the photos from recent trips, she seems to be paying attention to Alexis more than she ever did before.

And it could be just for public show. She probably heard of all the criticism about how Alexis and the boys seemed to get terrible treatment in the past. She changes lots of things for public show. I'd hate to see behind closed doors because her treatment of Alexis is probably worse and she may even pay less attention to her than ever since she got in trouble.

Maybe it's for show, but then again, recently she's been pretty much snubbing criticism and isn't giving a flying darn about anything, i.e., the repeated parking in the fire lane, the hooker wear, the ongoing trips to Target, tanning, Fed Ex.

Alexis "got in trouble" in October. If you google Kate Gosselin Alexis, there are many, many photos that pop up prior to that time (summer, early fall) in which she's with Alexis, holding her hand, walking with her.
She's been called out many times for her remarks about the icky boys, and how she ignores them in favor of the girls. I would think that if she's responding to criticism of this and correcting it for publicity reasons, then she'd also be playing the Good Mother to the boys (for show), but we really haven't seen this to be true.

I say this again and again, but how appalling that a mother needs to be told by her people which kids to act lovingly to. She is such a puke.

I for one would love to see the kids filmed doing "kid" stuff that school aged children do such as;
boy/girl scouts
soccer/little league
dance class/gymnastics
the normal things that used to make this show so endearing are gone, they have been replaced with Kate dragging her children around the globe for her enjoyment as she says to the camera "if I can do it with 8....." you should be able to do it too, well, I have to ask why? What life lesson are you teaching them? IMO it's too much, they don't look forward to a family vacation they probably feel like UGH now where, when I was a kid we looked forward to summer vacation for our family trips it makes me wonder what do these kids look forward to?
My answer is their Dad

Except they are not show dogs.
I think because their mother so shamelessly sells them out, the public has grown attached to them and forgets that fact It's not healthy or fair to film them doing anything.

As they say in war, "All is Quiet on the Front"!! For now anyway.
What exactly have we learned from the so called Learning Channel regarding the Gosselins.

We have learned that.....

..it is acceptable to exploit your children for money, as long as it is specified as reality and for the good of children.

...that being a mother does not necessarily bring forth motherly love.

....T.L.C. will pay for literally anything to keep their product in the spotlight.

...said product can pursue any claim to fame as long as it is under their ruling and modesty does not apply.

....destroying marriages and reputations comes under the heading of "tough luck" 101.

....who has the best lawyers and most money...wins.

.....kids lives do not really matter, only their product name.

.....boring is boring when done over and over again. Not much thought process here.

......when the spotlight is not bringing in enough star ratings....said subjects will be put on the organic pile.

So after six plus years we have learned.....basically nothing!!!!

Kat would like to retract her statement. I agree, to not have the children filmed anymore would be the best solution

I don't want to see them filmed at all. However, filming them at the above events would require the filming of those in attendance/participation as well. This would mean consent forms/CA agreements that would need to be signed. Given the publicity in this situation, I would image that there are many parents who want nothing to do with this fiasco, and TLC therefore would have a difficult time obtaining permission to film other children.
It would be ridiculous to film only the Gosselins at a Scout meeting or at a soccer game.

Anyone know about this or care?

I also saw it was in my TV guide, so I actually believe it is going to air this Wed. Is it new? I read about it and it says the former nanny/ girlfriend of Jons is interviewed.

What it comes to is a network that is out for money and nothing else. Nothing new there. But, what goes around will come around.

@@@@@@@@@@

I'm not sure that the reason we see more of her with Alexis is because of all of the criticism. I think that Kate is now at the point where Kate's going to do what Kate's going to do. I don't think it is all "for show." Certainly the photo ops are staged, but as far as her hearing criticism and thinking, "Gee, I better correct that and do what the public wants," I don't see it.

Maybe some time ago she might have cared enough about public perception to do this, but I think that now she's just too far into the game to care what anyone thinks about anything. If she did, we wouldn't have had the entire Alaska camping fiasco.

Those boys are at an age when perhaps they don't WANT their hands held by their mother. They might not WANT to sit on her lap. They are almost seven years old. I remember when mine went through that stage. They wanted to be "big boys," not babies anymore. My girls, however, didn't mind at all.

You said it. HOW many times can we see this family go to the beach? Go to a store? To the dentist? A hayride? A zoo? A beach...oh wait, did I say that already? I haven't watched in years, but is that really all that TLC & Kate has to offer as entertainment? WHO CARES? When my Grandmother used to pull out the old home movies when I was a kid, at least I was watching MY family, but when people are watching entitled, bratty, self-serving divas, who thinks it is owed to them, it's not much fun. And to just throw in a different background? Whoopee. North Carolina, Australia, where else? All beautiful, just a different bikini, & different trees, different waters, & different beach-goers.

At this point, TLC/Kate are reaching for a viewing audience. They have nothing left in their arsenal. That is why they threw Kate on that balcony & had Steve take some "sexy photos" & leaked that he was taking the shots. They NEED the press. I also think that this E! THS will expose Kate in a bad light. I heard the commercial today. "It went from a reality show to a freak show in 4 seconds". Now we know why Kate had no comment. She didn't have ANYTHING to refute the so-called rumors, that are actually truths. No ear-piece for YOU KATE! E! has her between a rock & a hard place. Jon too. Their grifting days, everything, I think it will be brought to light. I hope she is sweating into her Sake. (sorry for the long post)

You have to give Jon the benefit of the doubt now because kate was the total planner, manipulator, organizer deceptive mastermind of Operation Baby Maker and Operation Grift. Jon was used and manipulated by kate to go along with the "Just One More" and with the freebie searching. Can you imagine the pressure kate put on him to hit grift jackpots on a daily basis? Can you imagine Jon going to work and spending hours at work hunting and searching on the computer and sending companies emails telling their story and not hearing anything and coming home to kate and tell her, I didn't get anything today. No wonder she thinks Jon is a loser, in her sick mind. The Fury that she would leashed! That is why I think possibly that she made him quit so she could monitor him at home to make sure he was always searching for freebies. Jon probably came home from work, got the blast from kate and then we all know that he bathed, fed and put the kids into bed for kate at night. When did Jon ever sleep? Jon has come a long way, baby! And that is good. You can tell he is very remorseful about what the filming has done to his kids and being labeled a grifter. I hope he gets full custody of the kids so monster mom will have to start paying him child support.

Kate absolutely squandered the most precious of opportunities with all of these children -- the wonderful blessing of hugging your child every day, or holding his/her hand in your own, sitting with them on your lap and quietly listening as they tell you their thoughts, giving and receiving kisses. All the priceless joys of parenthood - gone, never appreciated, lost forever to Kate. And to the children as well, who didn't get to experience unconditional love - except hopefully at least part time from Jon.

Maybe so, but there is nothing to indicate that since she never has shown her kids any real affection. My son will still initiate holding my hands when we are home (not walking around near his school, etc, of course) He is 12. He is no different than my 19 year old daughter when it comes to wanting affection, never went through any phase where he just didn't want any at all.

I have 4 boys - 16 to 22, and they most certainly wanted to hold my hand at that age and beyond. Even at their ages now, they still give me their arms in a "gentlemanly" way to hold when we are out sometimes. Boys need lots of affection, just as much as girls do. Little boys need to know that they are loved.

All of the Gosselin children seem to be lacking physical contact. From what little I have seen on you tube, the father was the only one who gave them that physical contact.

I do believe that little girls and their Daddy have a very strong bond.

I also feel that sons and their mother have a strong bond. That is what is missing with the mother and her sons. They look up at her with quizzical looks on their faces, other times it seems to be fear as she screams right in their faces. They do run from her, they do not run toward her.

Cara seems to mother the boys, not Kate.

Quite a family to study in the future as these children continue to grow. Also amazing that the 6 children do bond to each other and show fear when their mother speaks. Rarely have I seen mother/child love in any segments I have watched.

Mady shows signs of being mentally abused and the other children, other than Cara, show signs of physical abuse, continual physical abuse.

She has raised her children with threats rather than love. Very sad. Hope that the future of these children on TV is over after this year. Don't see any of them having a normal teenage life but perhaps acting out their repressed feelings. Will be very sad.

Hope and pray that their teachers in school can supplement the needs of these children as they do not go home to do their homework, eat dinner with Mom or Dad and get tucked into bed, rather I think it is chaos in that house, all in the basement.

I read somewhere where Kate was upset when she found out she was pregnant with only six babies. She wanted eight babies like the Mccaughey's. The Mccaughey's lost one and ended up with seven. Kate was upset because she wanted to be even or tied with the Mccaughey's. Kate had said that this "was the worst day of her life". But she goes on interviews and says she was only hoping for "one more". I hope that Kate is exposed for the scam-artist that she is on E!

Wasn't it during the Hawaii trip or pre-trip, that Jon and Kate suddenly made a big deal out of Joel? They said they fought over who would sit next to him on the plane? I think that was in response to LaundryRoomGate, when he was made to lie on the cold floor by himself because he was so pukey. Joel was really coming off as the least favoured son - Aaden was "The Glasses Baby" and much beloved by the sheeple, and Collin liked to clean and organize, so of course Kate liked that.

Reading Observer said...

How sad all of this is. Every day must be a nightmare for Kate. She needs publicity, she needs to keep her name, her children in the media. She is on the verge of I think cracking up. How long do you go on like this?

Last night, Betty White said that she cannot believe that at 89 she was still working. This is a long time actress, singer, producer, etc., and yet she had years and years of no work. So Kate has to be getting ready for a very dry spell.

Unless she wants to pose nude, do a dating show, there is no element of popularity left for her. She may have to do what Kim Kardashian does, she is almost there anyhow, take off the bikini, it almost happened in Australia.

One thing is for sure, she is tired of those children and raising them. They are now too difficult as they have requirements and requests and she has to worry about publicity on a daily basis.

A tub of pretzels for the ride home was probably dinner as those kids are hungry after school and then they ride for an hour to their stop to be picked up by mom?

It has to end very soon. Hopefully, it will just stop, she will go away. Hide the children and let them continue to grow with their Dad.

All Wine & Spirits stores in the state of PA are owned, operated, and administrated by the state. The man helping Kate was a PA state employee. It is illegal in the state to give away alcohol for free. If this were happening (Kate getting free alcohol), the PLCB (PA Liquor Control Board) would be on her case. She could have been trying to plug the brand of saki hoping to get some advertising dollars from the winemaker, though - and perhaps not even with their consent.

My point exactly. State stores in PA don't "do" commercials, nor does the state give out freebie liquor. In fact, it looks like it was requested that the employee not even be identified in the photo, nor is the name and location of the store identified.

I was curious as to why the original poster would even comment that the photo was a commercial FOR THE STORE in exchange for free liquor if the store was not even identified.

Possible, yes; probable, highly unlikely. That would mean that they eat dinner in the car on the way home. Kate's not that organized. If they are in bed every night at 7:30, what is more probable is that dinner is at home, prepared by the nanny/cook, and is eaten at 6 p.m. or so at the dinner table, not in the car! There is still plenty of time before bed to eat their dinner at home.

Barbra said...

The comment about pretzels being dinner probably was (or should have been) 'sarcastic license'. And as far as 4 PM being too early for dinner, look at what time they must eat breakfast since they have to leave so early for school. But, more importantly, who 'shives a git'? And we all KNOW that IF they DO eat a real dinner, it sure as hell wouldn't be the mother figure preparing it.

Discovery Names New General Manager for TLC
By BRIAN STELTER

Bolstered by Kate Gosselin and Sarah Palin, TLC has been one of the most talked-about cable channels in recent years, and one of the flagship channels for its parent company, Discovery Communications.

Now TLC has a new boss.

Amy Winter, who has been overseeing TLC’s marketing, is becoming the general manager of the channel, Discovery announced Tuesday. She will oversee all programming, production and marketing.

Ms. Winter effectively replaces Eileen O’Neill, who was promoted last month to be the group president for both TLC and the Discovery Channel.

Under Ms. O’Neill, TLC enjoyed a hot streak with Ms. Gosselin’s “Jon & Kate Plus 8″ and, more recently, “Sarah Palin’s Alaska.” The channel features stories about big and small families and targets women ages
25 to 54.

While Ms. Palin’s program has ended and Ms. Gosselin’s program has cooled off, TLC will soon start a new season of a reality show that attracted controversy last year, “Sister Wives.” The series about a man, his four wives and fifteen children will return in March.

Also on Tuesday, Ms. O’Neill announced that Edward Sabin, the chief operating officer of TLC, will assume the same position for the newly formed Discovery and TLC Networks group. Both Ms. Winter and Ms. Sabin will report to Ms. O’Neill.

Clark Bunting remains the general manager of the Discovery Channel.

They'd have to munch pretty darn fast in the van because it a short distance from their home to the bus stop! That's why the suggestion that they eat their dinner in the van is so ridiculous.

And it could very well be that two of them don't pack their lunches at all, but buy lunch at school with the rest of their classmates.

*******
Well, "plenty of time" is an opinion in this case, because I don't consider the Gosselin kids as having plenty of time between arriving from school and going to bed. Certainly not plenty of time for play, homework, extracurricular activities (cough cough), etc. Not with their commuting schedule..not when they are such a young age and go to bed early. And I'm sure they're pretty hungry at 4, but that showing of the pretzel container was clearly some sort of lame promotion.

Brummy Girl....I seriously think that Kate spends all day on the telephone or the computer.

She must be reading everything written, any photos and then she makes phone calls to those "connections" she did make while she was at the top of the pile.

What Steve is doing while she is playing "office" I don't know unless he is filing papers in her office, so he can guard her from herself.

I would like to comment on the "Gosselin gang at 1"

"Here's how mom describes her sextuplets...

Aaden, a baby of extremes. He plays alone or screams at the top of his lungs.

Collin, he likes to eat & screams.

Hannah, impatient & demands her mothers attention.

Alexis, She is patient, kind, happy and takes her time.

Joel, he is a big flirt, laughs a lot, and gets into drawers.

Leah, an actress, she is animated and sweet.

Did Kate ever stop to think about all she has said of these babies ?

Perhaps Aaden, Collin & Hannah, wouldnt be demanding and screaming so much IF there were more help in the house ? How can one mother and a $25,000 dollar helper take care of 6 babies. Plus the $25,000 helper is only there 3 & 1/2 days a week. Childcare is 24/7, as any mother would know.

If Joel is getting into drawers ? Then where is the mother or helper ? Do you not know the danger of this. ?

Maybe Leah is so animated because she is trying to get attention ? How much attention do you think these babies get in a days time ?

I guess Alexis being the "oldest" has learned to be patient.

These children will grow up not knowing how much love and tenderness could be given IF Kate would not have turned away FREE help.

If these children are like this at 1 year of age, can you even imagine what they will be like at age 5 ? 8, 13 or more ?

I am glad I am not living in that household.

It sort of reminds me of how some children live in an orphanage. They are not cuddled, kissed, and know what it is like to be loved. How do these children turn out ?I just read some older articles from the Reading Eagle and this article just hit the nail on the head:

Three-and-a-half hours isn't enough time to eat dinner, play, and do 15 minutes of homework, if that? Maybe not, if they are into the Slow Food movement!

These are not the only kids who arrive home from school at 4 p.m. and have early bedtimes, and they won't be the last. Kate says that they are in bed at 7:30 p.m., but when has she ever spoken the truth about anything? She also said that she's in bed at 7:31 p.m. Do you believe that, too? My kids get home from school at 330. We have PLENTY of time for snack, homework, and fun. They are done with homework by 4/430 (depending on goofiness level) and play with their friends for an hour or so before dinner. After dinner we clean the kitchen and we play a game, or we hang out or whatever for another hour or so before a quick 15 minute bath and in bed by about 8. We aren't rushed or anything. I doubt the kids are IN bed at 730. Thats prob when they start the "getting ready for bed routine" which with 8 kids I am sure takes a good hour... I know with my 3, it's about a 30 minute process from start to finish.
I do think it's rediculous to put a 10 year old in bed at 730 though... The tups, maybe, but the twins? Come on. She needs to stop treating them all 8 as one unit.

Uh, most kids who arrive home at 4 (which I don't believe they do since that is *maybe the time they arrive at the bus stop, not home), do so because they have already gone to some activity or play time, or even a homework club. Most kids do not get home from school at that hour as if they have just had a 9 hour work day. That commute is hard on kids. No, I don't believe 3 hours is enough time for much at all. And I certainly do believe they are in bed early, probably around 7. Remember, this is the woman who made her kids stay in bed for 3+ hours every day rather than deal with them!

Just Wait Kate said...

Kate has it easy now with the 4 who are left in Kindergarten, I can't imagine they have much homework. I have 9 year old triplets and they have homework every night, in addition to a required minimum of 20 minutes reading and practicing their musical instruments. They are also expected to practice times tables until they are second nature, and study a weekly spelling list of 20 words. It is a lot, and my kids are in extra curricular activites/sports as well. I am sure the twins have a similar workload. I can't imagine what she will do when she has all 6 /4? of them bringing home real homework along with the twins. I don't see her coping with that, especially when the gravy train runs dry and she won't have any "help" to cook dinner, clean and help with homework.

I can see it now, Mady and Cara will be up all night helping the others with their homework and then trying to finish theirs, while Mommy Dearest is hiding in her bedroom with a bottle and a pack of smokes, crying "Its not fair that I have to help 8 kids with their homework all by myself"

That was BEFORE she had nannies to take care of them! Times have indeed changed.

Nobody has any idea what these kids do when they get home, when they eat dinner, when they play, when they do homework, or go to bed. Thank goodness there are no cameras in the home to record this. Since no prying eyes are watching their every move, then their dinner time, bed time, and all the rest is just speculation.

I'd say it is just a snack, and she wants to prove to the world that Kate The Great Mom keeps her kids needs in mind at all times.

If it were dinner, wouldn't she be in quite a tizzy? After all, for dinner, she needs hand cleansing things, utensils, a table to eat off, etc...

She was horrified in Alaska that those things weren't available.

Brummygirl wondered what Kate does with her day, once the children are at school. My guess is something like this:

Sleeps in late on days she has the nanny drop the kids off

Spends at least an hour, probably longer, deciding what to wear for her first outfit of the day

Calls Chris to meet her at either the tanning salon, Fed Ex, gas station or Target for picture time.

Calls Steve numerous times, and texts him.

Looks at herself in the mirror, checks the whiteness of her teeth, and the orangeness of her skin.

Calls her producer at TLC and pesters them about "Twist of Kate."

Eats food prepared by the help, and bitches about it.

Looks for any stories about her online - as thankfully there hasn't been much about her in any magazines I've seen at the check out stands.

Fumes about Jon having a happy life without being her minion.

Plays with her hair while posing in the mirror.

Drinks alone.

Grumbles about her "me time" being over when it's time to pick up the kids.

Kate probably wears it alone in her room at night, dancing with a broom, pretending it's a big name celeb, like in her mind, David frigin Hasselhoff, & says thing to it like "Oh, David, I just knew you would pick me to be your wife. We will be so happy once we put my burden of those damn kids in a boarding school & pursue my...I mean our career of reality television together. I'll be...I mean...We'll be so famous, & I...I mean we'll be so rich!!" Then she looks in the mirror with that horrific sack of a gown on & tells herself she was so beautiful that night, even though she got named one of the worst dressed, & pretends some more that she is just SO famous. And then takes some more sips out of her boxed wine. Oh, then says; "Shut up Joel, Aaden & the other one, I can hear you breathing!". Then she carefully takes off the dress, places it back on the hanger, tells it she'll see it tomorrow night, & goes to sleep, counting dollar bills & babies & wooden spoons.

Thanks, Jane--your account of Kate's day cracked me up.

Tomorrow, my "me time" will consist of the luxury of being able (after returning from work) to clean the house without the kids underfoot, as they will be at an afterschool activity.

Woo hoo! So excited about picking up the roughly 300 teensy tiny lego pieces off the living room floor before I vacuum.

OK, sarcastic self-pity aside, does Kate allow them the joy of lego building? Nah, she couldn't follow the directions for the fancy ones, and she'd never see anything in it for her.

Me, I love legos, and that my kids love legos.

Pony said...

Dustilies - I had to smile at your comment about Legos. My 25 year old engineer son still plays with Legos. They are a great toy for encouraging kids to learn about machines, buildings, etc. And eventually they can afford to buy their own.

And I completely agree with you - Kate would never allow her kids to have Legos - especially if she ever stepped on one while barefoot.

Everyone who posts on this site should have watched or taped. The perfect comments from Paul Peterson, which ended the show. The man hit the nail on the head.

It is not reality, it is a train wreck,it is destroying the children's lives. There is nothing more than 15% is ever put aside for the children.

Of course, as much as was said about Jon and his "dailiances" there was comment on Kate and her bodyguard.

Kate does not come across as anything but controlling, acting and she stands by her beliefs that the children want to perform.

Polly was fantastic and intelligent in her remarks. Many remarks, always again hitting the nail on the head.

Kate's grifting was glossed over but mentioned several times.

It is noted her parents and family members have little if nothing to do with her.

Her brother and sister in law presented the children and their questions.

She did dance with the devil and it is proven in that 1 hours documentary.

Paul Peterson does end the show with the statements about 2 of the children being expelled and asking the public to be kind to the children in life as they will have a lot of problems.

Al Wentis was emphatic about Kate being very particular about her handouts and that Kate and John went on the lecture circuit.

I am glad I saw this, as everything is true.

The only people not speaking were the children.

Next we will see John Gosselin, The True Hollywood Story. As Kate's interview clips were used in this and only a few short ones of Jon, so Jon was mentioned as fighting and fighting and fighting for his children, how he lived over the garage for a very long time.

The next one on Jon should be the other side of the coin.

Polly did a good job. Even the State was mentioned and their attempt to pass a Bill(s).

I only heard that Kate was on bed rest for 8 weeks. She was pregnant for 30 weeks total.

They lived off of their Church and a 100 volunteers. So, the only thing that was a surprise is that Jon had no job when Kate was pregnant, he worked part time when she was pregnant and did not get a job with the State until the babies were born. Interesting. Where did the money for the hormone treatments come from?

The difference in Kate's face, beside her breasts, is totally and I repeat totally different, she has had tons of plastic surgery.

A real grifter she is who does not care about those kids, that was proven to me.
hitting the nail on the head.

Legos..lol. My basement has bins and bins of legos that are usually dumped out courtesy of my 12 year old son and his 5 year old sister. They wind up all over the house. One of the saddest things is that she never lets the kids develop an interest in toys because she hates to accumulate stuff and was forever throwing things out, even when it was still age appropriate for them to play with it! I hated that. She had the yard sale and just started tossing everything.

My kids always pick up their own legos before they go on to any other kind of activity. The rule is that if they make the mess, they clean up the mess.

It paid off. The teachers at school always comment about how orderly and organized they are, always putting things away before they are even asked to do so.

And I am spared stepping on all of those teeny pieces or accidentally sucking them into the vacuum cleaner!

It bothered me too. Notice how no one else in that family was allowed to accumulate or keep things dear to them, such as gifts Jon's deceased father gave to them, the golf clubs Jon got choked up about selling, but I bet if we were to take a peek in k8's closet we'd find plenty that had accumulated. More shoes than any one human being is ever likely to wear. I bet she has things that she doesn't even remember are there & probably won't see the light of day again. As usual, it's all about her & what is important to her & screw everyone else including her own kids. Such a painfully predictable narcissist, those poor children.

It'd be nice some summer, while mommy is away, if the twins had their own little yard sale & used k8's accumulation to raise money, escape, hire a major lawyer & seek Paul Perterson's advice. Mind you, they'd have to advertise the sale further afield, like the in the red light districts of PA cities.

For the record Tami, my children are in K and second grade. Their bus arrives at 4:10, then we walk home, hang coats and I look through their backpacks. By 4:30 I know what is in store for us for the evenings homework. Some nights we have activities, which adds to the time crunch.
Children do get home at 4. The Gosselins have an hour commute, they probably get home later.

If the twins are forced to go to bed at 7:30 too, then they have very little time for a life. My goddaughter is in the 4th grade, too, and she has 1 1/2 - 2 hours of homework nearly every night. Since the school is supposed to be academically excellent, I imagine the twins' homework load is similar. So - 3 1/2 hours between the time they get home and bedtime. Figure 1 1/2 hours worth of homework, 1/2 hour for dinner, 1/2 hour to get ready for bed. That gives them about an hour to decompress from school, play, practice their instrument (for Mady), read, do chores, whatever. Throw in filming whenever they have a break from school, and those kids have very little down time. When are they supposed to just be kids? Their schedule would exhaust most adults, let alone a growing child.

A tiny bit off topic.... but I saw "Raising Sextuplets" Dad, Bryan Masche on Inside Edition today (see link to article that mentions the Gosselins). He's basically saying his soon to be ex-wife Jenny is a big ole' cheater (the show aired a VERY incriminating photo of her at night swapping some major spit with her -married- high school sweetheart).

Anyway, he plead guilty to the domestic violence charges.... and says Reality TV ruined his life, "just like Jon and Kate Gosselin". I see a serious trend here. No amount of 'blood money' is worth it; it's not a difficult choice to make - especially when involving your children. Even Kourtney Kardashian had enough sense to say no more little Mason on her show. She said the entire production was affecting the baby, and he would no longer be regularly appearing on the show(s).

Ok, saw the last 10 min the next day. And that interview she did, what a year ago, Kate said it plain & clear, something of: the only time I spend time with the kids is when we are filming. I'm glad I did not watch the whole thing, it looked to be put together in a hurry, with a lot left out. Saw the pics, of Kate picking kids up at school bus drop off, It looks like Kate had her hair done, or she touched it up herself. The last pics we saw of her, her roots were showing. Since, there has been no pics or sightings of her, could she have slipped to NYC, for a few days and just came back. Cause she does not look very happy about seeing her kids. I am wondering if the 2 that are homeschooled, that when they return to regular school, will they be repeating kindergarden, or move on to first grade? I'm beginning to wonder if, Kate was told that those 2 kids were not ready for kindergarden, that is why she pulled them from school(the real reason) besides the fighting. Since, kate swears that they were not expelled.

They were not expelled because she agreed to take them out before they were forced out. You can read between the lines. Her interviews said it all and the kids did hit others at school, so it was not about just not being ready for kindergarten. They may not have been ready in the sense that they are not socialized like the average 6 year old, but academically they could handle it if they were able to sit and listen to the teachers.
