I don't think the kids get another birthday. My cable guide says this is "behind the scenes" footage from the previous episode, so I think it's just stuff they couldn't get into the original episode. Still not interested in watching.

Here's a birthday surprise for K8G: no one cares anymore, K8G.

Behind the scenes?

Her kids hav a b'day?

WHO FREAKING CARES anymore???

Time for TLC to GET IT that K8G has exceeded her shelf life and is now expired. Time for TLC to follow K8G's lead whenever she's finished using people: remove and discard her. Viewers everywhere will applaud and celebrate. Now THAT would be worthy of a party!

Behind the scenes? Isn't the whole point of a reality show that it is "behind the scenes?" What could possibly be left.

Sorry. One of the drawbacks of the internet is that it's difficult to convey tone. However - I hadn't thought of it at the time, but if, as Khate claims, the only show the kids are allowed to watch is their show, this gives Mady more ammunition for her complaint. She and Cara get one, lowkey birthday that is virtually ignored and a huge deal is made of the younger kids' birthday.

Readerlady--we are all good with each other -- I am never offended if someone disagrees with me or corrects me -- everyone here is level headed and always have good points, observations, etc. -- I have lurked a long time and have always enjoyed your remarks -- sometimes, I do wonder about my obsession with this family, but I cannot let a day go by without checking in on the gang here!!! -- thanks to the mods who make my day with my "friends" on GWOP -- I think we sit at the "cool" table

Are we going to be seeing previews someday for the "Tups" 16th birthdays?? Eighteenth? 22nd???
Yawwwwnnnnn
If we do, wonder if they'll have retired the high chairs and sippy cups by then.

Didn't watch this episode (or any of the others for the last 3 or 4 years). Didn't even know it was on.

So they showed more tape of the kids birthday party - why? I get that kids b'day parties are fun for the kids but rarely are they fun for the adults (with all of the supervising and overseeing that responsible adults perform at child's party).

Watching more than 10 minutes of any kid's party (even my own) is equivalent to watching someone's vacation video. Boring!!!

If anyone watched this episode can you tell me if they edited out the part where Mady said "I just want to die" (or something like that). I'm curious if TLC edited that out since so many people commented about it after first broadcast. Thanks

Why in the world would anyone watch something so boring? Especially when they could be watching Big Brother, and see Rachel and Kristin have a great fight! And laugh at Enzo, and ... well, it is just FUN!
THAT would be interesting, TLC! Lock Ms. Kreider up in the Big Brother house on the celebrity edition! Of course, the other housemates would vote her out right away, so they would not have to listen to her cackle.

lol, I'm guessing no one watched this. This is a good sign.

Funny you should mention that. I forgot the show was on, didn't watch it the first time, and read about the "to die" comments. I landed on the channel just in time to hear Kate say someone had the birthday set up for them, so I thought I'd wait to see if Mady said it. She did. It was not edited out.
