It's Saturday and slow. Have fun.

We haven't done one of these in awhile and it seems a slow Gosselin news day so enjoy. This one is from Anonymous - who else? This one can spell jealous correctly.

Jealous you all are, I say Hooray for Kate. Who would'nt like the money and I think the kid's are doing great, I bet if some of you had cameras following you around 24 7 you might try hiding some thing's in your closet. And Jon oh' ain't he just the little play boy now....NOT! She need's to take him through the wash, he needs to grow up and put his kid's first and stop acting like he's a teenager again. You get the feeling it's all about him, when he told one of the children oh' I'm on broadway steet, kate did'nt get pregnant by herself. When he does his part of the show you can tell he is not into it, and the fishing trip for his kids going through the cow pasture, boring!give me a break, it does'nt take a numb scull to catch a fish. You hooky wormy, casty line, catchy fishy and pully in, YUCK! Boy he's a real stud now.....But he also like's spending that money to as you can tell.

I don't agree in the least bit that Kate is a good mother. I think that she is a lying master of manipulation. I also believe that karma comes back to bite you in the a**....so watch out Kate! You got what you wished for!

You pushed away all of your friends and family and now you are lonely. BOOOHOOOOOOOOOOO cry me a freaking river!

As far as Jon goes: I do agree that he is acting like a little 12 year old. It is SO disgusting that it is pathetic. If he had acted like a MAN while he was married to Kate, then maybe she wouldn't have HAD to treat him like a child.

The show's rating are way down. I watched the past couple weeks and the shows are BORING now...it is hard to watch the whole 30 minutes. Might be taking it off the DVR schedule all together.

And, I keep coming back to the same idea:

Appalling grammar, punctuation, and spelling issues aside, I think the poster should stop watching the show. After all, the poster thinks that Jon fishing with his kids was "boring". It is obviously better for the children to be dragged to a nail salon and made to wait while their mother gets her nails done, right?

Gag.

The lack of intellect and education represented in that contribution is a little scary. But it makes sense that such people would be easily taken in by someone like Kate. MomOf4InPA said...

I'm not a fan or Kate at all, and I'm not that big a fan of Jon either, but of the two of them, at least he seems more real. I would much rather watch Jon with the kids anyday. At least he is real with them, and doesnt freak out if they get dirty, in fact he encourages it. He is trying to show his kids how not to be afraid of the real world.

If the true premise of the show is to document everyday life in the family, which is more believable? Taking the boys to a dude ranch that has been rented out just for you? or exploring the wonders of your backyard (or neighbors backyard if you want to nitpik on the particulars).

The big extravagant trips are nice, but how long will they last? And when the money is gone, will they wish they could go back to Bald Island all the time, or visit Cocoa Castle again?

Personally, I get the feeling that Jon could care less about being part of the show anymore. He is there to be a dad for his kids, not a TV star. Just my thoughts.

rural mom said...

I wonder if Kate regrets selling her precious babies to TLC. Does she look at the wall of still life portraits and recall how much misery she put the kids through to get the pose. Does she watch the DVDs and think wistfully of how they wanted to do something else on film days. Does she even notice that hired help have replaced family and friends and now take the place of role models and confidantes to her children. Does she think about Jon and how badly he wanted filming to end to save their marriage?
Nah, she is too busy reading this post quickly to ferret out the bits that have her name in them. Kate you douche bag, you can't call yourself a mother.

Its' just too easy....but lets start with the fact that its' ok for Kate to have money ( who would'nt want to have money, after all?) but Jon is just a playboy spending all of his kid's money? I don't know exactly why, but "random sprinkling" had me laughing so hard. :)

For the original poster, when there is more than one of something (that's called plural), you just need to add an "s". You don't use an apostrophe. For example one kid = kid. More than one kid = kids . . . not kid's.

OK now I an really offended by this... My kids, ages 30,36 and 38 still talk about a vacation that we took to Idaho ( we live in So. Cal.) and all we did was fish for 4 days! So anyone that says fishing is boring doesn't realize that it can be fun, relaxing and a good bonding experience.

Wow. I'm almost speechless. I rarely post, but I just had to respond to this one. First, jealous yes, skull no (the last line of the original post said 'this one can spell jealous.' In the episode did he martyr himself (as Kate constantly does) about how difficult fishing was? Unless one of these two things were the point, talking about 'catchying,' and 'hookying,' etc., etc. make absolutely no sense. And how about those contractions? Again, wow. Thank you for the laughs!

I'm not going to defend the behavior of either Jon or Kate, but how exactly did Jon not act like a man? On the shows I saw, he was always busy. He was shown working around the house, playing with the kids, taking care of the kids, loading vehicles with their stuff for trips, driving on trips, and more. Maybe he felt that doing those things were in the best interests of his family. Kate's constant put downs and criticisms, while probably hurtful were something that perhaps he didn't know how to deal with, but he could do something about taking care of the kids and the house.

So you tell me how you deal with rude, depending people? What has worked for you personally or have you never been in that situation?

Kate could not have written that post. She is always so "tired" from all the hard work she does as a single mother. I suppose it must really wear a person out to have to tell the staff what to make for dinner and to do some house cleaning and take a child to the doctor. Besides when would Kate have the time to sit in front of a computer? She has a "career" to focus on!!!

stopthemadness said...

I love it that they don't get the irony in the criticsm of Jon. If he's the developmentally retarded teenage acting bad boy why did Kate ever marry him - and try to force him to parent and suport - 8 kids? SHE was the original 23YO "skank" trying to glom onto the terrible Jon Gosselin. In fact dislodging his actual GF at the time to do so, and then trying to trap him thru having so many babies (that he didn't ask for or want) he couldn't even leave the house except to chase a ball down the street.

Anybody can marry an immature guy and struggle with the ramifications of that, but it takes a real genius, I guess, to get knocked up twice with multiples by him, when you know he cannot afford to support the family of four you already HAVE.

stopthemadness said...

The comment that Jon is not into the show - as osme kind of criticism of him - just shows where this sheeple's head is at. No, he is NOT into the show. It invades his and his children's privacy and has turned his wife into a money grubibg fame whoe who left him at home so she could run around with her bodyguard; he didn't want to be Jon and Kate he wanted to go to counselling and try to save the marriage. the show isn't good for the kids despite providing you sheeple with hours of mindless amusement. That is why he wanted it to end.
Are they are so thick skulled they view "jon and Kate plus 8" as the highest good for these people? Kate is trying to put that message across - she HAS to do the show to "support" her kids - but the real fact is the kids support HER, they are the show, and no, you don't have to do the show to support them. YOu also don't have to live a millionaire lifestyle.

What is best for Kate is not best for the family, sheeple. And this show is not what is best for any of them.

Sad Excuse for a Woman said...

No, rural mom, I don't think Khate regrets for one moment selling her kids, her babies, to TLC. We have been told by Kate's mother that Kate as a teen was really taken with another set of sextuplets who apparently received lots of free stuff and lots of publicity. I think she, Kate, set out to get this for herself.

If there are any real feelings in this very fake person, Kate Gosselin, then they are buried so deep that only protracted psychiatric therapy will ever dig them out. She is as false as her breasts and twice as dead inside as her dead hair do.

As someone who was raised in an atmosphere of old wealth, I can tell you that nobody who comes from money acts the way she does. She is a hillbilly wanna-be who manipulated someone in the medical community and lots of TV watching Americans and church-goers for quite a long time.

Yes, her jig is up, but she won't go down without a fight. To her last breath it'll be "it was all for the kids". No insight, no apologies, no reality.

MomIAm, I am totally with you. Jon has acted strangely since the split but never have I seen him not be masculine or a man. The fact that he did not lash out at Kate in an aggressive fashion (physically or by yelling or throwing things, etc) speaks volumes to his security as a man. A less self-assured or so-called manly man would probably have hit her (we've all been tempted) or screamed at her loud enough that she would back down out of fear ( much like shoka and nala should have done). He was such a gentleman and she pooed all over that kindness. Jon being photographed drinking a cocktail or dating someone does not make him a bad dad. I'd take him for a parent over Kate anyday

At least the Kardashians, Paris Hilton and Speidi don't pretend to be anything but vapid reality personalities. Kate marketed herself as supermom and now is trying to be a glamazon tv personality in her own right. She is rightly being criticized because she has to leave her children for days on end to try to do this and still acts as if she is a regular everyday presence in the kids' lives. She's trying to have it both ways and lying to keep up appearances. I think this is what has everyone in such an uproar, pitting those who get it against those who believe the bull that comes out of her mouth. Without her family, Kate is nothing but a boring uneducated self-absorbed dork trying to be cool. And the glamazon look on her is just so tranny; she is too large to pull it off and she is much prettier with less makeup on

Forgive me, if I am mistaken, but what I think you meant to write looks like this:

You all are jealous (note proper syntax). I say "Hooray" for Kate (note quotation marks). Who wouldn't (note proper apostrophe usage) like the money the they make (note insertion of an object that completes the sentence)? I think the kids (note removal of apostrophe) are doing great. I bet if some of you had cameras following you around 24/7 (note insertion of backslash), then (note inclusion of "then" to complete sentence) you might try to hiding some things (note removal of apostrophe) in your closet. Isn't Jon just the 'little play boy' now? ... Not (note change in syntax, inclusion of single quotation marks, and an ellipse)! Kate needs to take him through the wash (note use of proper noun before pronoun, and removal of apostrophe). He needs to grow up, put his kids first, and stop acting like he is a teenager again (note the use of commas in a list, the removal of apostrophes, and start of a new sentence). One gets the feeling that he believes it is all about him (note change of syntax) when he told one of the children "Oh, I'm on Broadway Street" (note insertion of quotations marks, and capitalization). Kate didn't get pregnant by herself (note changed location of apostrophe). When he does his part of the show, you can tell that he is not 'into' it (note inclusion of single quotation marks). The fishing trip for his kids as well as the trip through the cow pasture was boring (note change in syntax). Give me a break (note capitalization)! It doesn't take a numb-scull to catch a fish (note change of apostrophe location). You hook the worm, cast the line, catch the fish, and pull it in (note change in syntax and spelling). Yuck (note the change in capitalization)! Boy, he's a real stud now...but he also likes spending money, as you can tell (note the change in syntax, inclusion of ellipse, and addition of a commas).
