More Shopping Tips from Kate..... I KNOW!

I'm sure you all are as tired of hearing this from her as I am, but this one struck me as particularly funny. She really has no self awareness.

But....KATE DOESNT CLIP COUPONS!!!!!!

How can people still think she is just an ordinary mom who has to juggle 8 kids on a fixed income?

beachchick said...

kate said it herself in this article...
"They don't understand it. To them, it's their normal. They've been filming since they were 15-months-old and they don't know any different."
give them normal kate!

WHAT! She is still trying to sell that story about planning meals according to sales and grouping errands to save on gas? What is wrong with people? You would think that their sheeple would be smart enough to figure out that is not their lives anymore! They moved into a million dollar home! Maybe after they see the move on their show, they will actually start to get it - they are wealthy! They do not need (or deserve) "love offerings"! Kate has so much nerve telling those same lies - even after we all know they have moved into their mansion!

WHEN WILL THIS MADNESS END? Why are all these companies using Kate as a spokesperson and interviewing her about how to cut the cost of your grocery bill???? There are tons of other families that truly do struggle who have more kids than KON. Duggers for one and TLC has been showing a few other shows with septuplets. On Discovery the other day I was watching a show about 15 month old septuplets and the family was so wonderful..they lived paycheck to paycheck..and they didn't EXPLOIT their children. I would love to see more of those kids..and what about the only set of African American septuplets (on Discovery)..Both parents work, and one of the 6 is Autistic. Kate is a liar and a fraud and the sooner she is off the air, the better. Good riddance to bad rubbish. I will miss the kids though!

Chrissy said...

I can't even begin to count all the lies in this story - it's unreal! Just once I'd like to hear from someone, anyone, in PA who has seen them caroling, using coupons at the store, being pleasant to a fan or donating time and/or money OFF CAMERA. You would think if they did all this, someone would see them. Anyone?

kate is a cocky bitch said...

OMG I am going to vomit. How the hell is she a TV star??

Onomatopoeia said...

Hmmmm...coupon clipping, meal planning, sale fliers, grouping your errands together...DUH!!! Star Magazine must think the average member of their audience is a freakin' moron. And Kate as a the shining beacon of saving $$$$???? PUH-LEEEEEZE!!!!!!!

Meg said...

1. Kate doesn't have to cut coupons...she is technically a millionaire and i doubt she does it. Why? Because she either gets it for free from the organic farm or it is free by means of Craft services and prepared meals from the organic chef that TLC pays for.

2. "Grouping errands" to save gas money is no longer true...she admitted that on shoot days she has someone available to get things from the stores as needed. In the industry it's called a "runner" and she openly admitted to it! I wonder if the runner groups the errands to save gas...

3. the kids ALWAYS match. She says the kids dress themselves in whatever they want but I have never seen it.

IMO she is such a liar...sitting on her white plastic chair in front of her new million dollar home.

And it really upsets me that she went to St Jude in Memphis. I have been there plenty of times (I live in Memphis) and it pains me to see them interrupting the lives of the beautiful children to give them....wait for it...A multiple blessings book. Look at the pic in the green wagon of "presents". SAD.

Isn't STAR magazine a gossip mag? Not the most reputable mag. for the devout Christian to be doing an interview with. Also, do they get paid for all of these little interviews they do, whether it's in print or online? Or do they do them for free just to promote themselves? Also, didn't Kate say that they didn't need to promote the show in the yard sale episode? For not needing to promote the show, she sure does a lot of interviews. I did think the questions the STAR asked her were very telling.

Marissa said...

They've felt the economic crunch? Are you kidding me? I guess moving into a million dollar house, wearing designer clothes, traveling all of the time, being able to be two stay at home parents is feeling the economic crunch. Also, their planning to move at some point? It's pretty obvious that they've already moved. Why is it so hard for her to just be honest?

my3angels said...

Isn't there a better way to teach your children how to avoid having your picture taken besides turning your back on people. The parents have put them in the situation, they should be the ones defending their children.

I know, right?! This is the same magazine that makes up bold-faced lies about celebs ALL THE TIME. I remember they even went as far as to do a whole section on celebrites that supposedly pierced their nether-regions (turned out to be a lie, of course...it's STAR magazine!)
But that just goes to show how smutty they are.

I can't believe Kate would grant them an interview.

Disgusting.

I am ill to my stomach. I can't believe she is still trying to sell this load of crap. And worse -- people are buying it and magazines are supporting it.

I'm afraid those of us advocating need to step it up a bit. She's getting worse.

i like how she said that they are "disney kids".
so should we be looking out for the 'tups show on the disney channel anytime soon?

i was cracking up at some of the readers comments on the article!

One word...GAG!

She's told so many un and half truths that she doesn't even know how to keep them straight anymore!

What did you all think of the picture of her in the article. The one by the sink. She looked way different. Maybe some work done? I don't know...she just doesn't look like herself.

Dew said...

I suppose this will be Kate's new justification for exploiting the kids. Well, they don't know any different so it's okay!

It's like saying well my kids have always gone hungry, they don't know any different, so what's the big deal?

Not okay, Kate. Not okay.

nANCY019 said...

And I've taught them — and at 4 they understand — that if people are taking pictures, and it bothers you, just say, 'No, thank you' and turn your back

Hmmm, now Kate would not be happy if they did that to the cameras that follow them 24/7, now would she?

3rd Rock From The Sun said...

La La La,

The reason that Kate looks different? It's called BOTOX. Let's face it, Kate is very vain and narcissistic.

heidiiiii said...

ROFL!!!

That was funny article. Loved the way she tried to dodge questions.

beachchick said...

How about a lie detector test episode.Even though we don't need one. coupons? yeah a coupon off of charity donation!

Glenda said...

I agree the photo does NOT look like her. Do they sell REAL organic food at grocery stores? Cutting coupons? We 'don't say' if we move? They know to say 'no thank you' to people who want to take their pictures? They don't 'always' dress alike? They 'like to watch our show'? Seriously she needs to read the chapter on lying in the bible.

Peri said...

Who needs Botox at 33? WTF? I'm a few years older than her and I don't need Botox. I thought that was stuff women in their 40's and 50's did.

What she really effed up on (besides her crazy hair) is her teeth. What on earth did she do to them?

3rd Rock From The Sun said...

Peri,

I know some teens who have had Botox. Kate has probably had some Botox on her forehead. Her teeth could be "cosmetic teeth." Remember that Kate has admitted several times that she drinks a lot of coffee. So maybe, when her real teeth are stained from coffee, she puts in her "cosmetic teeth." She doesn't realize that it makes her look like a freak.

I see in the picture, that the kitchen in the back round is a fake kitchen. How ironic, fake Kate in a fake kitchen!

This is so funny. My favorite is "“A master at managing chaos”.

I love the comments too. That's my favorite part of these articles because more and more people seem to finally GET IT

Kate said, "'Go back upstairs and change, you're hurting my eyes.'" to her 4 year old twins. What kind of mother says that to children who are JUST learning how to dress? Geez. She disgusts me.

Hello,
I subscribe to Ladies Home Journal. in their Jan. 09 issue, An article titled Less Stress in 2009 7 experts share their New Year's Resolutions.
Kate Gosselin (gag) is quoted as an EXPERT.
It's on page 28.
I'll copy some here: with some of my comments interspersed.
"Stress Confession(kate): I panic about my Impossible to-do list. Sometimes when I think about what I need to get done, I feel like I a going to cry and scream at the same time. My stress level has sky-rocketed over the past five years: I gave birth to sextuplets, my husband lost his job and I left mine, several close friends and family members died an our whole lifestyle has changed-for one thing, there's a camera crew in my house much of the time, taping my every move. That's been a good thing for our family in many ways, but on some days even one additional person can cause me stress.
New Years' Resolution-Stay in the Moment
I wont allow myself to think ahead to tomorrow's stress, unless it helps me get organized (I thought she was the queen of organization)?
Also, I'll try to remember no to let the to-do list steal my fun time with the kids (really, when does she PLAY with them)? My personal goal is to handle stressful situations graciously-something viewers of our show know I dont do often (u can say that again)..Instead I take my anxiety out on m husband, Jon!

Just wanted to share my outrage on this dumb article.

You know what bothers me? The line "it's like they're watching their memories"

That is scary...they aren't watching the actual events, they are watching the edited version. Lately, the editing has been very UNflattering to the parents. So whether or not things were taken out of context, they will remember the EDITED version because they've seen it so much. How can that not mess with the kids' heads??

I can see them thinking "that's not how I remember it, but it must be the way it happened because that's what is on TV!"

Unless of course, the person is waiving a crisp $20 bill in exchange for the photo; or a contract that will put more $$$ in to mommy and daddy's pocket. But if you are in the shower naked, sitting on the potty, having impacted stool removed, then by ALL means 'keep those cameras rolling'!!!

I swear, suddenly any story that has a comment section afterward seems to be bombarded with Kon lovers. Way more than ever before. It wouldn't surprise me if their PR firm hired one of these pay to post companies.

Sort of hard to do when you're out fleecing churches, at book signings and doing P&G pop out coupon kiosks in NY. And since we all know about the nannies and how Kate's only role in caring for the children is to sit on her throne yelling at others to get that, do this and blah de blah, no she's not caring for children in place of coupon clipping. Most likely at a spa or the mall picking up her freebies if she has free time.

Tami said...

Uh, did she really say they dress themselves in any old thing at home?? LIE! They are filmed almost every day and are ALWAYS in matchy match outfits. In fact, I am sick of seeing all the same exact outfit. How trite! Put them in similar colors if you must, but give them some individuality already!

big_smartmouth said...

"It's like they're watching their memories"

Kate do you really want your kids reliving these memories? You'd think you would want your kids to block out all the times you yell at their father, or how you mock them during your interviews behind their backs, or the times you show favoritism to some of the kids.

"Have you felt the economic crunch?
'We all have..."

How in the world has this family felt it? Not only is she rich, but the piles of money they DO have, she doesn't have to spend any of it since everything is free to her! Coming from someone who's husband lost his job recently and how my hours have been cut, it offends me that she's trying to play off that they are hurting like everyone else. It's all smoke and mirrors, isn't it, kate?

The thing that made me mad the most is all the comments from the fans of the show. we've heard all their comebacks before- "You're just jealous" (Not even!), "You don't know them to say all these bad things about them!" (But you personally know them to say they are great people in real life?), or, my fave, "They are doing the best they can. They have 8 kids to put through college!" (So hookering them out to the public is okay as long as you have a lot of kids as an excuse...got it!). All of these aren't new comments, but it still ticks me off to see how naive people are. It's because of these people that KON is still raking in the money!

noteasybeingstupid said...

I don't believe for a minute that Kate clips or uses coupons. She may order someone else (Jon) to clip coupons and use them. But that is too far beneath her.

SammysMom said...

Well, if Kate wants us to believe it's true she still clips coupons how about SHOWING US THAT on the show?!?! I mean, isn't that what the original premise of the show was - the daily REAL life of living with 8 kids? And having shown her do that on one or two episodes several years ago when the series just started is not cutting it. Show how they REALLY live now, or tell the truth that she doesn't have to clip coupons. and there's also not a whole lot of coupons for the organic stuff either Kate!! You'd think they'd all get a clue over at TLC and realize people NEED to see this in these hard times, and even though we may know here that she doesn't need to clip coupons, if "the show must go on" why not cut out the outrageously expensive trips to Hawaii and Outer Banks, and show the reality of trying to make ends meet as a family of 10? They live in Pennsylvania Dutch country for Pete's sake, not Beverly Hills! Those are some of the most down-to-earth and hardworking people in I've ever met. Show how the average Mom is making it right now with a large family - cutting back! You know - BE REAL! Must be hard to do though when you're sitting on a pile of freebies, and planning your 2009 "we deserve this" vacations paid for by TLC.

This show is such a farce it's laughable. They are now up there being as "real" as The "Real" Housewives of OC, hah! If they'd just show reality - how about show Jon JOB-HUNTING for a REAL job - then maybe I'd be able to stomach it, but it is now so fake, so unrealistic to what real people go through IMO, it's now just product placement and advertising revenue for TLC, plain and simple.

Star Magazine is about one step above a tabloid--and that's not saying much. It's the poor man's People. The fact that she's even in the magazine says volumes about her "celebrity status". She's a publicity whore.

The comments under the article are equally hilarious. One commenter says "They run a tight ship". Well, yes, if you get a stain on your free Gymboree clothes, God help you. But smacking your siblings around and yelling and screaming loud enough to pop eardrums? Perfectly acceptable.

Jeez, it's like watching my childhood, but times 8. Those poor children.

Where is the information about them buying a 1.3 million $$ home coming from? I saw the post with pictures on here, but what is the source of this?!

Kate has her hands full. Who cares if she clips coupons or not?

I care that she gets up and LIES about such a simple thing. If she's lying about this...well then what else is she lying about? Likely EVERYTHING.

Why do people look upon the con artist as a saint?

Tee said...

I'm sure KON has felt the economic crunch... their love offering plate is probably not as full as in days of plenty!

Oh the lies! I'm surprised Kate's nose isn't 20 feet long with all the junk she's spewing. I thought she said her kids don't watch TV, and now she says they're Disney kids (another plug) and fans of their own show. Uh huh.

used to be a fan said...

Kate says that she's "always clipped coupons and always looked at sales flyers"...what about that shopping for ten episode where she said that when it was just kon and the twins she NEVER looked at the sale ads or used coupons and laments on how much she could've saved! it was only when the gravy train was just pulling in was she using coupons and she dropped that habit like a hot potato as soon as all the freebies started rolling in...BARF. they are so gross.

didn't watch the show this week-hooray said...

The kids are becoming "well-rounded" by being exploited? People are so silly to believe the "coupon clipping" stuff she spews. It's kinda like Angie and Brad explaining how they live frugally with six kids. Kmart layaway anyone?

Disney is one of their sponsors, yes? Of course they are Disney Kids! Maybe Nickelodeon should make KON an offer!
I find it amusing that she's handing out COMMON SENSE as her fantastic "money saving tips". She's delusional.
And just ONE time I'd like to see an episode where the kids each picked out their own clothes and Kate didn't fight it.

Do you ENJOY DOING the show? (my caps)

"The blessings are we get to work from home, we're there with them. We get to travel. There's so many experiences that we wouldn't otherwise have. I feel like it's making them so well-rounded."

She answers questions just like a politician....and no one even seems to pick up on that.

I am sure the new home has designer appliances in the kitchen, top notch items in the bathrooms, expensive bedding in the bedrooms, and closets full of designer clothes.

I could believe she would give them an interview. To Kon it is all about the all mighty dollar. It doesn't matter who gives them an interview whether it be Star or the National Enquirer. Also, they are getting attention from this article, and everyone knows that the second thing that Kon likes the most is attention.

I can't believe Kate would grant them an interview.
