Kate feels guilty about how much time she spends with each child? Maybe she could stay home more? She's been to NY "working" how many times lately? How many promos and book signings has she done? Maybe we could track all of her recent appearances?

God that woman just drives me INSANE!!! The lies she spews from her mouth! I cant even believe people believe a thing this lunatic of a woman says! God help her poor poor children! Weather or not this show continues, they are being raised by this woman! They have no hope! That makes me so so sad!

Whether you like her or not, Kate Gosselin has to be one of the most tedious people on the planet.

ParentsCanada: "What point of the kids’ lives do you worry about the most?"

KG: "We try not to worry about the future."

beachchick: That's your problem chicken head !

rule #1 plan and consider your children's future and outcome
I see how it is Kate keeps giving them organic food so they will be healthy to have as many years in front of the cameras!

Kate is just like the nasty old b#tch from Hansel and Gretel -she keeps feeding the kids until they realize she wanted them to get plump so she could eat them!
she is all about herself!

Just another example of how Kate turns any situation into an opportunity for her to beg for pity:

- Kate's pregnancy/bedrest was SO much more difficult than any of us can imagine, even those silly St Jude's kids with cancer

- Kate has 8 children that need braces, college tuition and a timeshare in Maui

- Kate does SO much for her family which is why she is always so exhausted

- If people didn't come to Kate's yard sale, what the heck was she gonna do with all that stuff?

and on, and on, and on.

The BS that spews from this woman's pie hole is seemingly endless.

We just keep hearing the same old answers, over and over again. How much more boring can Kate get? You could ask me the questions that they ask Kate, and I could tell you, what her answers are going to be. I just knew that she was going to get her "organic" word in there some where. She always does!

dizzy_squishling_and_bean said...

Do you ever feel guilty about accepting help?

She says YES???? Are you effing kidding me, her whole life for the last few years has been spent with her hand out BEGGING for any "help" that she can scrounge up.... and she says she feels guilty? Well you should you stupid shrew.

You SHOULD feel guilty about the vacations, teeth whitening, hair plugs, love offerings, the people that you trampled who helped you out of the goodness of their hearts.

OH and the book that YOU wrote, maybe you should set the record straight on this one, it looks REALLY bad when you let people say that you wrote it. BETH wrote the book, you should be on your hands and knees kissing that womans feet.

NEliseH said...

Hey Kate, if you feel guilty about taking hand outs, stop taking them. If you can't understand what that means, ask Jon...afterall, he can explain what PR means.

Tammy H. said...

"Kate has now penned their story, Multiple Blessings. (Although, where she found the time is beyond us!)" What the heck? Beth said she wrote it, Kate and Jon lived it. Kate couldn't even give Beth any recognition. And for the part of "where did she get the time??" She's got plenty of time (if she had wrote it)...she's traveling the globe and when she's in her million dollar house, she's got nannies, chef's, housekeepers etc..so I am sure she had plenty of time. Why does the world think this couple is so special??? They used their kids to get what they have..it's exploitation. The world sees her degrade her husband, call her boys "icky" "nasty" and "yucky", love all over Hannah, and brush the twins off. There are tons of other families with multiples, some with disabilities, and some who have 18 kids...so when is the 15 minutes going to be up and the kids get to really act like normal kids???

Doesn't worry about the kids future? Now that is the only thing Kate has said that I really believe.

I thought it was great that Kate stated they no longer have to worry about how they will pay the electric bill. She is being honest about being financially well off.

Poor, poor Kate. Is there ANYTHING about "being blessed with eight little blessings" that brings her just a teensey-tiny tad of happiness? Does her konstant state of exhaaaauuuuustion punctuate EVERYTHING? I never realized how important it is for KON to qualify even a moment of happiness, e.g. "alone-time with one child", with how BAD, SAD, GUILT-INDUCING, and meaningless that moment becomes as they must ALWAYS consider the big picture, the grand scheme, e.g. the other seven children who are not having their "alone moment". Why bother to do anything for the kids, to try to do anything...?

Oh, right. Kate doesn't do anything anymore, unless SHE is the star of that moment; her over-inflated ego is really a bottomless pit.
Two things in the Canada- Parent article that stopped me dead in my tracks; I didn't bother to finish reading it. Kate describing and whining about her ever present state of stress and guilt is getting old. As my nineteen-year-old daughter would say, "She bums my trip."
1.) Kate said, "...but I have learned that being a good mommy doesn't need to prove she can do it all."
No, she just has to prove that she can HAVE IT ALL.
2.) "...Be careful when attempting pregnancy with 'fertility'. It's exhausting..."
Another classic example of Kate's genius I.Q. I think most of us are aware that some level of "fertility" is necessary to achieve a vital pregnancy. I don't think this is a typo; it's just a KON trying to puff up and sound oh-so knowledgeable.

This woman is a FOOL!

You know what REALLY BUGS me?

Is that recently they're ALWAYS showing the children in "past tense".

What I mean is, they are now doing articules with photo's of the children from a year or more ago.

The twins are 8 and have ALL their 'grown' teeth, and the tups are 4 1/2 years, and ALL THESE MAGAZINES are showing YOUNGER PHOTO"S.

Is this to "promote" more 'fans'?

Is it to keep the children "young", as we all know, "cute photo's sell", (if we show the "8" growing up--heck--the articule may not sell?)

Has anyone else noticed this lately?
It really bugs me!
I guess it's part of "Kate's" keeping the "tups" especially, YOUNG,...

Even in the shows, there's still 'bibs', high-stool chairs that they lift the children in and out of, (hey, I'm all for 'high' chairs to reach the table, but ones that allow the children to climb up and down THEMSELVES!), and much more I won't get into.

Ha, ha. She forgot a few words in that she wants to say you have no right to judge us as bad parents, siblings, children, members of the community and human race, she would love for folks to judge her as the royal highness of coupon clipping, magical uterine bearer, mother of the century, Queen of the bees.
Katie Irene, if you don't want to be judged harshly then stop being an obnoxious hag to your spouse, a nagging witch to your children, a cold hearted twit to your families and all the people that helped you before Figure 8 and TLC open their coffers to you! And guess what it's not just the show that has brought the judgement that you dislike so much. It's your behavior in the neighborhood, in the store, in the churches you've cancelled and also those you showed up to and then acted too good to even smile at the fools that lined your pockets for a silly photo and autograph.
Arrggghhh. Lies, whines and malarky. I swear if I ever see an artcle that isn't just a peice of PR fluff that a lazy reporter shoves into a magazine I'd die a happy woman.

Yes I have noticed this. Even during television interviews the film footage shown is always dated episode footage, ie, episode of Kate shopping and using coupons, footage of gathering up the children to head out the door when the tups were carried in baby seats, footage of the tups while still in cribs and diapers being changed. IMO, the showing of dated J & K + 8 episode footage is an attempt by J & K and their PR team to continue to market and sell J & K's original 'amazing story', albeit now over 4 years old. Look at the difference in the dated episodes vs. newer seasons. Newer seasons feature footage of Aunt Jodi or Beth caring for the children, Kate sitting on her 'white plastic' throne Jenny the helper dressing and playing with the children, amusement parks, resort vacations, and Mady and Cara actually express an opinion.

Great! Just when i thought i had gotten over griping about them...
All i get from that interview and any other time is she seems to regret having the tups. I never come across any loving grateful words about having that many kids.(yes i know, Kate doesnt know words like that).. I dont doubt that 8 kids are a true handful, my 4 are handfuls, i want to run away at times, but i would never give anyone the impression of which Kate gives. Once again, im disgusted by her comments.

MichelleS said...

Oh forgot to add..if the title of her book is Multiple Blessings, then why the heck in that interview when answering questions about her kids, the pregnancy, fertility etc, does she NOT seem to feel so blessed??? No need to answer though,i just needed to throw that comment in here..Ok no more,i cant spend new years with Kate's load of crap on my mind..

Shannon said...

That interview was a snooze only because she says the same things over and over. I'm beginning to wonder if her PR people have a set list of questions that can be asked in interviews. Since Kate isn't smart enough to think up enough lies for all the questions that SHOULD be asked, it would not surprise me at all if there are only a select number of questions she allows to be asked of her.

The questions that stood out in my mind was the one about the individual time with each child. Kate, if you realized you had more kids than just your favored Hannah, you might have a few extra minutes in your "exhuasted" life of sitting around doing nothing while being pampered that you could find some time with the other 7 kids you had to get just to get the favored one.

I agree.

EVERYONE on television is there to be judged. And only small minded people on tv get upset when the judgement isn't in their favor.

If you can't take the heat, then get out of the kitchen.

Kate said: "Yes, it is all true and none of it is ‘set up’ or staged." Really, Kate? How about ommitted? Why doesn't this true, accurate show depict how often the kids are left alone with a sitter? Why doesn't the true show address what the heck happened to your crew of friends and family who have all just vanished? Scraping Beverly out just wasn't enough.

Quick, film me making a few pots of soup with the kids huddled around me before I jet off by myself to New York.

I'd like to see one journalist who would have the grit to slip in a few unexpected questions at the end. If the Today show can ask Martha Stewart about the charges against her while she was making a salad on a food segment, I don't understand why a journalist can't just sneak in a "Uh, by the way, what happened to your, uh, entire family?" question.

CJS said...

ParentsCanada: What point of the kids’ lives do you worry about the most?

KG: We TRY not to worry about the future. But we (not unlike any parents), want our decisions to benefit our kids today AND in the future, so we don’t take any decisions concerning them LIGHTLY. I want my kids to look back on their childhood knowing that they had two parents PRESENT and INVOLVED and understand that we did everything to better their lives.

I'm no sheeple, but I am capable of reading something in its entirety and not just picking out what I want. i think it might have been Kate's round about way of saying "We take it day by day."

At least comment that you don't agree with KON about what is best, but don't accuse these parents of not caring at all about the futures of their children. In my opinion they are soaking it all up as much as they can because they know that ONE day (and we can hope it is SOON) it will be gone but the expense of their family won't be. Honestly I'm worried about that $1.3 million dollar home... that will not be an easy lifestyle to maintain when caring for 8 children after this is all said and done.

If Kate and Jon try not to worry about the kids' futures (what an asinine thing to say in the first place) why are they still begging for money to pay for the kids' educations, braces, weddings, etc?

Kate and Jon are only worried about the financial future for THEMSELVES, not the emotional well being of their children. And hey, here's an idea, if they need money down the road, they can always get a job.

I totally agree with lisa k who said that Kate saying she doesn't worry about the kids' futures is probably the most honest thing she's said in quite some time. She really is missing the "filter" between her brain her mouth.

And, also, I wouldn't worry too much about their million $ home - they sure aren't.

Everything that comes out of her mouth contradicts something else she said. She really can't keep her lies straight!

And, of course, the sheeple will proclaim : OF COURSE Kate has to use single serving packets - how else could she pack 8 children's lunches! Stop judging her until YOU try to pack 8 separate baggies of snacks !

If one were REALLY trying to 'stretch' a budget, it would be far more frugal and cost effective to buy snack items in bulk and then prepare individual snack size portions using reusable containers or the snack size zip lock bags. Considering most single serving snacks are packaged to accomodate only 6-8 servings, this would be an extremely expensive choice for larger families , even those consisting of 2-3 children. There ya go Kate, I just gave YOU some advice on 'stretching a budget'. I look forward to YOU taking the credit for my (and others) 'expert' advice in your next magazine interview article.

Sounds like a great way to spend time with Mady and Cara. They could sit together and put snacks into baggies one afternoon with their mother and could actually get a chance to talk to her and have some time with her. Oh I forgot, that would cut into Kate's 24/7 'me' time!

Key words are IN MY OPINION. You are telling someone how and what to comment. Maybe they are perfectly happy with the way they expressed themselves. I would not presume to tell someone how they should feel. In fact, I feel the same way. What Kate said was the truth: She does NOT care about her childrens' futures. She cares about her own.

Even bad press is better than no press at all. That's one.

Two, product placement is product placement. A cheap and easy way to get the product out there. It's far cheaper to have a product placed in a movie or a show than to put together an actual commercial. Now, if JK are smart enough to go for the big bucks and get the dollars for endorsements....

Let's face it, JK's demographic is a huge one. Kids (most of their fans are little kids), young parents, and that older crowd (like my mother). They are a hotbed of demographics. And, face it, with the mixed ethnicity? Wider appeal.

That being said, do they really portray the wholesome, typical family image the PG and Kmart want? Those PR folk really really really want us to change our perceptions of that don't they?

As ususal we were treated to the "organic, of course" remark. As I have stated before, I have seen shopping carts laden with pop tarts, chips and cheetos, etc. It would be news to me if these items have organic versions.

Also, Juicy Juice is not organic either. Oh wait, I forgot how fluid her integrity, morals, and beliefs are! If it is free - it's all good. You have the money now - buy those poor kids some milk. She is going to rot their teeth out with all those sippy cups of juice. Calcium and vitamin D, Kate, or did you miss that day in nursing school.

The reason people want Kate is because the show has 2 million viewers on a niche channel. And those 2 million don't see a controversy.

Product placement can actually be quite expensive. For example, many of the items featured on Desperate Housewives carry a price tag of $400,000. Now that show obviously has a greater reach being on a basic cable station and better viewership - so no company would pay that kind of cash for J&K.

However all those product placement dollars go into TLC's pocket, which is why the show continues. KON constantly makes comments that the show will continue until they as "a family" decide to stop. It will stop when viewership dips too low to bring in the advertisement money. After all, that's what covers the travel expenses for a family of 10.
