Yes--"It is R life!" and Kate does sound extremely hostile and defiant. I think they should rename the series to "Greedy R We".

It should actually be:

"But it's Arrrrr Life"

For the pirates they have become.

Does anyone else fast forward their TIVo or hit the mute button to avoid Kate's last line in the intro, "But it's our life!". I hate how hostle she sounds...

Yes, it is annoying when she says ARE life! It's like she believes she is sticking it to her family and all their critics. No wonder she has no one in her life who can stand her!

With all the over the top hype promoting the J & K 'wedding event', TLC must be feeling mighty insecure about their Monday night programming competition. For one of TLC's supposed most watched reality shows they sure have gone to great lengths in an attempt to convince people to watch. All that shoving down the throat promotion leaves a really bad taste of child exploitation in one's mouth.

pinkdiamond611- it's called "wardrobe". I'm sure they made her wear it. I think it's cute and if I had the body, I'd wear it too. BTW, has anybody else noticed how thin Kate got lately? I think she looks great!

TLC is doing what every other tv station does at sweeps...bombards us with promos of each and every kind. Doesn't matter if it's their top show or not. In fact, usually with the top shows, promotion if more abundant. That's the way it is.

Also, Kate probably says "our" like "r" because it's the way "our" it can be part of the dialect of midwestern PA speech.

Tripletsmom and annie- You know why Kate doesnt buy biker shorts for the little girls to wear under their dresses? Because its more clothing for her to wash.....BARF!

My kids know a ton of different characters from reading books with them in it, from playing with other kids who know the characters, wear shirts with them on it, etc so it doesnt mean that they know everything from sitting in front of the TV all the time.

I feel for Jenny and I dont think its fair to put her in the middle. I have been a nanny and traveled with that family quite a few times and while its nice to get to see different places, its also not always easy. Taking care of someone elses children while they are watching can be stressful and I think she really does care about the kids and do her best.

Nobody thinks that the kids watch all the time, but we know they DO watch, which is ok ! The problem is that Kate stands on her soapbox and makes comments that her kids don't watch tv when in fact they do. Same thing with "my kids don't eat fast food" and "my kids eat only organic", etc.

I may have to give up TLC completely to avoid them Well I have. I realized even though there are some shows I like such as What not to Wear, Trading Spaces I just can't support a network that knowingly exploits minor children and spends gobs of money advertising that show. Shame on TLC powers that be just greedy slime that could care less about the damage done to minor children and wowie they talked other parents into exploiting their children too. They make me sick.
BTW, has anybody else noticed how thin Kate got lately? I think she looks great!
Well she claims to do the treadmill for 75 minutes each morning so why shouldn't she look great with all the spa visit, the make up and hair folks (ew, that hair is scary!) and every type of assistance know to womankind. She doesn't have to cook, clean, care for her children and has unlimited resources. With all the benefits she has gained by selling off her minor children's lives she most likely does look physically good, but her soul must be really ugly. If we all could do the same we'd be lovely too. But I could never ruin my children to have spa days
Also, Kate probably says "our" like "r" because it's the way "our" it can be part of the dialect of midwestern PA speech. Well, she wants to become a big time motivational speaker so she needs to stop with the nonsense words and the "accent." When I moved from deep South to DC they considered my accent to be a speech impediment and put me in speech therapy. I'm sure they have classes for adults to learn to speak without the accent too. Perhaps she could attend speech therapy with the tups who appear to be lagging in that area.

Did anyone else think it was odd that 4-year-olds and 7-year-olds were napping?

They were napping because they were exhausted from traveling, and being run from here to there, instead of relaxing.
