I just sent about 10 questions.

Oh I can hear Diane Sawyer now- "What do you want to say to the people that think your exploiting the kids?". I think we might be able to count on her to do some research and ask tough questions. That is if she's the one doing the interview! Too bad they were'nt going to be on 20/20!

Anonymous said...

OMG we should all send in questions! Make 'em really hard...

Judy said...

Does anyone remember when Denise Richards went on a few morning shows one right after another to promote her show?
I think they ALL raked her over the coals....
She didnt have a say in what they asked her.....will J&K have a say in their questions? I sure hope not!!!
I hope Diane Sawyer asks some truly thought provoking questions and not the lame typical "How do you do it?" Whorf!!!!
Diane Sawyer babysat the Dilley's didnt she?

Anonymous said...

I sent a few questions in but don't be surprised if only the fluff questions get put through. I wonder if they'll be in the studio or "live" from their home?

Anonymous said...

I don't see the link where I'm supposed to click to ask questions. I looked on the right side of the page and don't see it. Can anybody help?

Pam Anderson said this in response to another woman having her kids on a reality show: I have no idea how she became famous. She shows off her kids all the time in TV shows - that's beyond low. I’d never do that. Kids can’t make that decision at that age, can they?"

Pam realizes this but KON does not?

Here is a direct link.

I'm certain it's going to be a big fluff bit like the rest of them. I'm sure that their PR firm has ensured only certain questions will get through, and that it will all be about "supermom." Why are the shows doing this? It's not like they're some hard to get celebrities where they are willing to say, "ok, we'll only stick to the topics you deem appropriate." When the PR firm puts limits on the questions, the shows could just say, "No thanks, we'll pass. Go get publicity somewhere else."

A Mom-ynous said...

Personal observation--in 1 week that will be two appearances...that is a lot!

(Orlando on Saturday, NYC this Thursday).

I can only presume that questions will be filtered and this would probably be a parenting segment as opposed to an expose. (accent on the e...lol)

I had a hard time finding the section to email J+K....I found it here

Hope this helps

Thanks for posting that direct link. I asked about 13 questions in a very clear and objective manner. I hope Diane does the interview herself and goes for it. It says all the kids will be on the show too so Diane may not want it to get ugly and just ask the usual stupid sheeple questions, like, "How do you people get any sleep?" "How many diapers do you use?" I myself am not planning to watch because I cannot stand looking at those people, let alone hearing their lies. I look forward to a full report after the show right here on GWoP. Thanks again, mods for ALL you do. We appreciate you.

Anonymous said...

I will be in NYC Thursday...I never watch GMA, is there a place where you can stand and watch, similar to the today show?

As much as I despise KON, I would really love to see the kiddos!

Anonymous said...

I just had a thought... Even if Diane Sawyer has to ask the "fluff questions" on direct orders from her producer, she can always do her own story on them later, can't she? After all, Diane is a very, very smart woman and an investigative journalist. I really think the mainstream media attention (even if it's fluff) will spotlight them and come back to bite them and put an end to their scam of scams.

Lesa said...

It will probably be about their book. It was released today. (Remember that Beth is a co-author. Pretty sure we won't see her on TV with KON)

Anonymous said...

FYI, the link on ABC's home page is gone. It was there this morning, but it disappeared this afternoon. You can still get to it via the direct link that was previously posted.
I, too, believe this appearance was previously scheduled to promote their book. Interesting that no mention of the book was made on Regis & Kelly. I'm really curious to see if it is mentioned in this appearance.
I also emailed several questions and requested that ABC (maybe 20/20) do an investigative report on the exploitation of children - particularly children who work in "reality" television in a state where there are no child labor laws.

Judy said...

Where is the J&K link on the GMA website? There is NO mention of their appearance today. Has anyone actually seen the interview or was it cancelled?

Vedy Vedy Interestink!

Anonymous said...

I did my part in submitting questions! All together I submitted about 20.

By the way, can anyone tell me which little girl Kate is holding in the photo?

Anonymous said...

Pennsylvania DOES have child labor laws. KON must get away with it due to the exception for children working on the family farm with their parents. That exception is appropriate for the Amish, but KON are not farmers.

I tried to provide the Child Labor website the other day, but got blocked. It is easy to find if you want to read it yourself.

Anonymous said...

I do believe it is Hannah. You can get a pretty good view from her profile - it doesn't look like Alexis or Leah , they have smaller, rounder heads.

Anonymous said...

I sent my questions yesterday. Then today, I sent Diane and her production people an email (there's a separate section on the GMA site to write directly to them) and I asked them if they had taken the opportunity to research this "family" before booking their appearance. I gave them my usual two cents and suggested they do an investigative piece on KON and on kids working in reality TV in general.

Anonymous said...

Here is the link from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania website (child labor laws section):

http://www.pde.state.pa.us/k12/cwp/view.asp?A=165&Q=105983

This is one of the questions from the FAQ's I found interesting:

Q: If a student wants to work as a model or performer for theater, television or the movies, what permit is needed?

A: The Department of Labor and Industry issues a Special Performance Permit for the employment of minors seven (7) to eighteen (18) years of age. This permit is for theatrical productions, musical recitals or concerts, entertainment acts, modeling, radio, television, motion picture making, or in other similar forms or media of entertainment to be performed in Pennsylvania. Children younger than seven (7) may be issued this permit to work in film or video productions, but not still photography.
If the performance or rehearsals will require any absence from school, there is a section on this permit that requires the signature of the building principal and work permit issuing officer. Arrangements have to be made to ensure that participating in the performances will not interfere with the student’s academic progress. To obtain an application for this permit, or for additional information, contact the Department of Labor and Industry at 1-800-932-0665.

The Gosselin kids are clearly working in TV - how does "reality" TV exempt them from the labor laws? From reading this, it sounds like the kids need work permits. Am I misinterpreting?

dixietrixie said...

I'm sure this will end up a fluff piece on the family. Clearly someone at GMA is not doing their homework - a sample question on the site is about how many diapers they go through??? They've been out of diapers for a while now.

If they are not promoting the book, then what is this media blitz all about?

IMO, that is clearly Hannah that Kate is holding in the picture on the GMA website.

Anonymous said...

They just said Kate will be cooking in the last half hour. You have to be kidding me. Could the announcement of a cookbook be far behind?

I think I just threw up a little.

Anonymous said...

Shouldn't the kids be in school today?

Anonymous said...

If GMA says one more time "Kates going to cook" and "they are on a tight budget"....I will scream.

I suppose she can cook, but a tight budget.

Now I am watching & listening to Kate answer for all of them. arghh

Anonymous said...

Boy, Cara looked THRILLED to be there!

Lonnyswife said...

Loved Jon's answer RE: critical blogs and not the smartest thing having the family 'out' there. Yes,people would stare when you were all out and about, it's like watching a circus. Yes, newspapers/mags would want stories, but you don't hev to comply. Look at the many other HMO families that pretty much faded into obscurity. He basically said it's easier having his family be on television every week than to have to answer an ocassional question at the grocery store.
It's all about the Ka-ching!!!!

Chris said...

Kate looks so fake with the way she presents herself and talks. It's actually sad.

C said...

I'm so so glad thatRobin Roberts mentioned the negative criticism and blogs - whoo hoo! That means that they must of gotten bombarded with negative emails yesterday and felt the need to say something.

Oh and Jon's answer was LAME! Happy that the word is getting out about these two scams and that ABC let that question go to them. I thought it would be all fluff-related. Glad it wasn't! :)

Now off to write an email to Fox and Friends (they'll be on tomorrow morning.)

linda said...

I just heard that they will be promoting the book that they wrote and that Kate will be doing a cooking segment..

Anonymous said...

I just finished watching the segment w/ J&K on GMA and i just can't help but notice Cara and how sad she has been looking in recent episodes of the show as well as appearances on other shows. I know that age is a rough age. I have an 11yo and we have been going through rough patches w/ her since she turned 8. So i am sure that is some of it, but it seems as though all the kids are sad looking lately. GMA didn't ask any questions we didn't already know from watching the show. I was hoping they would have asked that burning question we all have: Where's Aunt Jodi and Beth?" The show is starting to bore me a bit. Its the same thing every episode: Pick a place to go, get up, get the kids ready, travel to location, film at location, come home. I feel as though they are giving a false representation of what a large family is about.

Anonymous said...

How telling that those twins from the Suite Life were on after Kon talking about how twins are more useful on TV because of the laws they have to abide by for child actors - oops!

Anonymous said...

NO MENTION of Beth until Robin Roberts said something - haha! Did you see Kate's face when Robin mentioned Beth???

Anonymous said...

Glad to see the kids so well behaved again!

C said...

I was hoping they would have asked that burning question we all have: Where's Aunt Jodi and Beth?"

But if you noticed Robin Roberts did say the book was written by Beth Carson during the meatloaf cooking segment. I think she gave Kate a chance to mention her name during the coach interview, but Kate didn't say who co-authored it, so Robin did say her name and did you see Kate's face when she did? She had this surprised look on her face and then she put her hair behind her ear, looked off to the side and said, "yes." Honestly I don't think she was expecting her to mention Beth's name and then Kate changed the subject. hehe.

Ilovemykids said...

You know it's got to kill Kon that they have to share royalties from the book with Beth.

sgt225 said...

Hi C, I couldn't watch because I'm at work. What do you mean by Jon's lame answer and "happy that the word id getting out about these two scams"? What did he say exactly? Thanks!

Anonymous said...

I posted two questions to the GMA site...neither posted.

In the montage there was a clip of Beth holding one of the girls. Actually there were 3 clips in a row of two older ladies and Beth each holding one of the girls. Sad that the host had to mention her name.

In intervies with authors who have had a co-author it is good form to acknowledge the co-author.

I am very surprised that the photo on the cover in from a photo shoot when the little ones were about 2. I wonder why the photo is not more recent. The photo is so dark--not an enticing book cover. I wouldn't stop to pick it up, not colorful enough.

Anonymous said...

Well I guess we all know now how Kate is going to handle Beth co-authoring the book. She just won't mention her!

I just love the kids..... said...

Poor Cara. She looked so miserable being there. They did show her a few times looking miserable. Another thing, when Mady put her head on Kate's lap Kate brushed away instead of affectionately petting her head like any other mom would do!

Anonymous said...

Well I for one am impressed. Not once did she swing her greasy legs or fidget with her hands. Nice perfomance Kate. Definately major damage control probably orchestrated by their new PR firm. Cant believe the new Kate is actually "shudder" becoming a bit likable. Quick note though Katie. WE SEE RIGHT THROUGH IT. Nice effort though.

question. why is every single person in media afraid to ask the hard questions? I sure hope Nancy Grace does a story on them. She wont cower to anyone.

-------------------------

This is what frustrates me so much!
In recent weeks KON have been hither, tither and yon and NOBODY has asked the hard questions. I am disgusted with these programs.

Anonymous said...

I just sent an email to GMA about this segment. Disgusting.

Also, in the clip, did you see how Kate made a "shoo fly shoo!" gesture when Aaden was asking her a question during her meatloaf tutorial. I cannot stand this woman. There I said it.

Anonymous said...

J & K claim that the twins are enrolled in and are attending a private school. If that is the case, then the twins were absent from school on Thursday, 10/16 to appear at 8am on GMA. No amount of J & k spin doctoring will convince me that it is in the best interest of the children , specifically the twins, to appear with mommy while she makes meat loaf on GMA over that of receiving a proper education.

Anonymous said...

I don't think the media is afraid to ask questions, but in these promo type of interviews the celeb guests, if that's what we're calling J&K, usually tell the questions that can be ask and have to approve the questions before taping.

allison parker said...

Surprise surprise Kate is holding Hannah again. What is so special about Hannah anyway? Other than (in my opinion) the least cutest of the girls? I am happy that the camera focused on Alexis, the cutest!!!

Okay, seriously. Jon's name is also on the book, why did they act like it was just Kate who wrote it all. And Kate made it seem like all Beth did was record everything. I believe Beth depth and ensured that proper grammar was used in the book.

Did you see the cooking segment? Everytime they have to show Kate before the commercials, all she did was dump catsup and mayo. And the actual cooking, she just tossed ingredients in a bowl.

I am not against that, I guess because they were getting paid to do that, as well as endorsing the book, but I believe that it was totally unneccessary to bring all the kids there. The kids should be at school. They didn't even bother to talk to the kids. I think Jon and Kate are just using them as props. Mady, I know she needs serious parenting. She just has no control with what she says. When Kate gets upset with Mady, she just asks Jon to get Mady away from her, which I think is stupid of Kate. What she should do is explain to Mady that this and that is wrong, etc. She has to correct her child's behavior rather than talk (complain) about it in national television. Robin Roberts even mentioned she has heard of Mady, as if that would help!

Anonymous said...

Please folks - go out to CNN's website and write to Nancy Grace - I, too, just sent an email asking for her to do a story on this sham!

dixietrixie said...

Kate's performance on GMA this morning made me feel quite vomitous. How fake! Robin mentioned that they all went to see Mary Poppins last night. I'm guessing that GMA footed the bill for that -- and was there a thank you from the Gosselins?? Of course not.

I agree that Jon's answer to Robin's question about their critics was totally lame. People would look at them in the grocery store and other public places so they might as well film their children 4 days a week and broadcast their lives to millions? What an idiot!

Anonymous said...

Shouldn't the kids be in school today?

Pennsylvania permits a student to only miss a maximum of 10 days per school year. That includes sick days, educational trip(s), etc...How in the world are Kon (short)skirting that state-wide rule?

Kate could have scored some major organic brownie points by keeping Cara and Mady in school today (and tomorrow - Fox and Friends appearance).

Anonymous said...

we all need to bombard fox and friends..the email is ..friends@foxnews.com
with the questions and beg them not to do another fluff piece on this family but to investigate

Anonymous said...

WOW...Kate's recipe for meatloaf was excellent. Who would have ever thought to put ground beef, ketchup, eggs, and seasoning in meatloaf??? She is such a super-star chef. I am sure their personal chef ask her for suggestions/ideas all the time!

Her cookbook (you know there will be one soon) likely will contain such great gems as "putting shredded cheese in Mac and Cheese" and the famous marshmallow fluff sandwiches. Where does this lady come up with these profound recipes?

I, too, felt really bad for Cara. Most kids would be beyond thrilled to have chance at being on television. Unfortunately, it is old hat to the Gosselin kids and they likely would have rather been at school. I always figured Mady would write the "tell-all" book one day, but now I think it might be Cara. Bless her sweet heart.

Anonymous said...

Did you hear how Kate responded about her tummy tuck ? She said something like " I highly recommend it ....."

She highly recommends it ?!?! She says this as if everyone has access to free surgery.

ThreeFarmers said...

I didn't watch. Did she put anything different in her meatloaf that made it any different from every other meatloaf on the planet?

Anonymous said...

I agree with the person that mentioned that Cara looked miserable and so sad. I don't think she smiled once. These kids are obviously being exploited. You can tell during the interview that Kate just loves all the attention for herself. It's actually really disturbing. Those sweet kids deserve a private life.

Anonymous said...

A few observations - Hannah once again is the only one on a parents lap. Cara looks miserable. Kate claims to be less controlling and has mellowed out "Right Jon" During the cooking segment she was very dismissive to one of the boys. And that meatloaf recipe looks like any other I've seen.
Link to video here: http://abcnews.go.com/GMA/

Anonymous said...

I agree, poor Cara looks depressed, checked-out, apathetic, etc.

They need to get the cameras out of their lives or get that poor girl help ASAP. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see the writing on the wall with her.

Shame on J/K, TLC, the sponsors, the softball-interviewers, everyone who perpetuates this myth of a show.

elleroy said...

Two things stuck in my mind as I watched: first, that Cara looked really miserable, almost angry to be there. When they were introducing themselves/the children, Mady said her name, Kate waited for Cara to say something and Cara refused, so Kate introduced her. I just feel for those kids. The twins were also dressed like the tups. Eight year olds don't want to dress like their preschool siblings. I bought matching coats for my 8 and two year old boys and my 8 year old was having none of it! The second thing that I kept thinking about was what a completely raw deal Beth is getting.
I think many of us agreed that Beth was an exceptional friend to Kate and someone we would all like to have as a best friend. The way Kate has treated her is just appalling and really sad. I think that Beth has exhibited such class in that she hasn't come forward to say a thing, despite the fact that she has every right to. I'd be suing the free Banana Republic duds off of these two. How on earth can Kate stand there on national television and neglect to mention the co-author of the book even when a picture of the cover is shown bearing Beth's name?
And given that GMA admitted to doing research, it's disappointing but predictable that the questions asked were all fluff. I suspect that they wanted to keep it light, especially in front of the children. I suspect as long as K & J "hide behind the children"
during these appearances, they won't be asked any tough questions. There needs to be an expose on one of the news programs.

They were at Mary Poppins on Wednesday, GMA Today and Fox and Friends tomorrow, so that's 3 days total they missed of school. Plus the two days when they were on Regis and Kelly a few weeks ago (I'm sure they left for NYC the day before.) Plus weren't Mady and Cara at the show in Orlando last week, on Friday?

So they've missed 6 days of school so far (that we know of) and it's only, what October? I wonder if they'll be put under any scrutiny because they go to a private school?

Oh wait, but the kids LOVE to do this, right Kate? Cara sure looked like she was loving every minute of it on GMA today!

Look Robin Roberts didn't have to bring up the criticism part, she could of just kept asking the stupid questions like they all do. BUT she did bring up the criticism and the blogs out there. Plus she was the one who brought up Beth Carson, not Kate. I'd say it's an improvement, it's at least something and I believe the more public appearances they make and the more we the critics know about it, the more negative attention they will bring to themselves.

Now everyone, go write to Fox and Friends! Maybe one of the three interviewing them tomorrow morning will throw them a zinger!

I know that Jon and Kate seem to take Mady and Cara out of school quite a bit, but, we do not know if any of these days were school "holidays." My kids are off today and tomorrow for parent/teacher conferences and were also off last Friday for Columbus Day. I'm not defending Jon and Kate, either. We are in Oregon, though. My mom teaches at a private school and the kids are off a half day today, all day tomorrow and just had Monday off for Columbus Day. So, the twins may have been off for a school holiday.

I just checked their school calendar - they had off today for Parent Teacher Conferences, but there were no days off any of the other times they were on TV, which means they missed school for Regis and Kelly and last Friday for Florida and yesterday for Mary Poppins and tomorrow for Fox and Friends.

I've had a bad feeling about this family lately. Where's Aunt Jodi? Where are Beth and Bob? And, frankly, where are J&K's parents? It's not normal for a family like this to completely alienate ALL their relatives and friends. I can't believe that older lady still comes and folds laundry once a week! Surprised Kate hasn't jumped on her about something by now. I would love for some interviewer to ask these questions. Of course, J&K probably have an "off limits" set of questions that they will NOT answer and agree to do interviews only with their pre-conditions. They said something about "we can both work from home." Does Jon still work anywhere? He was working for Beth's husband; is he still? Something's not right about this family and their situation.

MK said...

What was so special about that meatloaf? Or any of Kate's recipes for that matter? Seriously, she does nothing original or creative in terms of her cooking. I guess her cooking is just one more area of her life where she has an over-inflated self-image.

Cara looked miserable. All the little kids looked like they were about to fall asleep.

I don't get how Kon has the audacity to imply that they had such a difficult, early morning. It's entirely your fault you want to drag your kids to "work" at all hours of the day. Quick fix: 1) go back to PA; 2) Put a sign in the yard for TLC/Figure 8 to not approach, photograph, or film your family; 3) Make some phone calls and cancel your conveyor belt of freebies; 4) Donate Konham Palace in NC to someone who actually needs a home; 5) Get jobs; 6) Allow your children to be children, love them, APOLOGIZE to them, and get on with living a respectable life.

In response to: "How on earth can Kate stand there on national television and neglect to mention the co-author of the book even when a picture of the cover is shown bearing Beth's name?"

Kate entrusted Beth to care for her children, referred to Beth for advice on the re organization of her home, Beth graciously opened their home to J & K and provided the 'back drop' for family photo shoots and 'memory making' events. However, Kate cannot find it within herself to publicly acknowledge and give just credit to Beth as co writer of their book.

Kate is definately not a public speaker especially if she is going to do some instructional cooking. Too many Um's and like. Her PR people need to work with her on that. I think the answer she gave to Robins question of How Kate does it is pretty rude. Kate just said. Very carefully. That was a smart a$$ response. She gives the same tired answer on every interview. I am tired of this couple and wont be watching the show or blogging anymore.

However, Kate cannot find it within herself to publicly acknowledge and give just credit to Beth as co writer of their book.
It just shows what a sweet, good-hearted person Beth must be to have done all of that when she was around to witness the general ingratitude that Kate showed everyone else since the birth of the sextuplets that Beth never cut her off but gave her every benefit of the doubt until she found herself toss in the curb with everyone else that crossed Kate by virtue of shining a beacon of kindness and civility by which Kate looks like the dull classless human she is.
Though Kate will never likely thank or give Beth her due for the assistance she gave her not only on this book but in many areas over the years I think Beth is the type that would never go public and confront her about how hurtful Kate is being with this pretense Beth wasn't integral for the book coming to pass. So it's even in her silence that Beth again is the much better person that Kate can ever dream to become.

I didn't watch. Did she put anything different in her meatloaf that made it any different from every other meatloaf on the planet?

Just her money grubby hands. hehe
ROTFLMAO. How true.
I didn't see the show either but does germaphobe Kate mix her meatloaf by hand? OMG! E-coli surprise. I can't imagine there being even one family that doesn't already have a favorite meatloaf recipe. Yes, it's a popular budget meal but wouldn't the coupon queen Kate have a larger repertoire of recipes that she could have pulled a less known budget meal? It's a joke anyway to me since as one of seven children who assisted my budget conscious parents with meals we'd not have the extra money for organic beef never mind two pounds of it. We'd hope to get 1.5 lbs but regardless it would be full of stretchers like bread, oatmeal or something along that line. Why do these hosts go along with the dog and pony show about how the poor, money strapped Gosselins manage not to starve, blah, blah, blah. Really why? As if they aren't pulling in a hefty paycheck with the TV show, endorsement gigs, dvds, and now the book deals. Give that lie a rest and insulting our collective intelligence.

Anonymous said...

I question the meatloaf in general. Have we ever seen the kids eat anything resembling a real meal?

Anonymous said...

I just had a thought, unless the interviews are with just Jon and Kate, the hosts would probably not want to ask anything too controversial just for the sake of the kids. Especially since the twins are old enough to understand whats going on. At this point the kids are their security blanket.

Cara looked mobidly depressed and I'm sure everyone noticed Mady hitting herself on the head repeatedly as Kate explained how she is now more relaxed and less controlling. I guess Mady was warned not to hit anyone else so she had to hit herself. Sad.

You couldn't pay me enough money in the world to do that meatloaf section. It was just awkward.

Rachael Ray she is not.

I just watched this mess on you tube.
Three-Farmers, the only thing different about her meatloaf (at least compared to mine) was she adds carrots and celery for added nutrition and italian seasoning. It did'nt look like anything to write home about but the hosts and Jon ooohed and aaahed over it.
She was completely rude when Robin asked her about Beth. I would think if she and Beth were still friends she would have elaborated a little more about how Beth helped. That would have been the *Christian* thing to do.

sandyjean said...

How was Kate rude about when Robin mentioned Beth??????? She said something like Beth Carson helped write the book and Kate said yes she did....nothing else was said or done about that...that was up to Robin to ask that question, Kate didnt have to say anything about it....

OMG as a dietitions daughter I have to vent a little, Kates meatloaf was gross. Anything that is made with ground meat should never never never be served pink inside!!!! This could KILL you!!! I know that in America they still ask you how you like your hambuger done, and they will serve it to you pink in the center but where I live this is against the law and if the health inspectors find you serving things like that they will shut down your establishment. Hearing that made me cringe! For someone who claims that good "nutrition" is so important to her, should she not know that oatmeal adds much more fiber and nutrients to meatloaf then bread crumbs. And adding hot veggies to your meatloaf makes it much more tender. OMG that is going to be the worst cookbook to ever hit the stores.

I TRIED watching the mess on YouTube, but after about 2 minutes I was ready to POKE MY EYES OUT with a sharp pencil - had to turn it off.

Maybe Kate's using the Jessica Seinfeld approach to food and 'hiding' it into the meat? So revolutionary and innovative. Segments like that make me glad I'm a vegetarian. Pink meat - ick.

Sandy Jean, It was rude because ALL she said was yes. We all know that neither Jon nor Kate could've penned this book on their own. Which I know most books are written with outside help, but I would think that if they were as close as Kate had led us to believe she would have given Beth a little more credit rather than just saying "yes". This is a Christian book about blessings so I would think Kate would have had a better attitude.

I'm sure Jon and Kate have a list of questions that they give to any interviewer that can NOT be asked, or they won't do the show (kind of like what celebrities do). Otherwise, how else do you explain the fact that NO journalist will ask different or real questions?

And as for the Beth situation, I was watching the "How we got here" episode yesterday, and Kate called Beth "an angel from God" when they were being interviewed. Gee, that drastically changed fast.

Does anyone know if they were, in fact, on Fox & Friends today?? If they were, I'm surprised there are no updated comments here...

I just had a thought, unless the interviews are with just Jon and Kate, the hosts would probably not want to ask anything too controversial just for the sake of the kids. Especially since the twins are old enough to understand whats going on. At this point the kids are their security blanket.

That's a good point. Here's another one: Talk shows need sponsors. Even if they aren't the same products or companies that sponsor Jon&Kate, it's very unlikely for a talk show producer to let the host go on the attack against another sponsored show, because potential sponsors (of the talk show) don't want to take the chance that in the future it could be a show they sponsor that is attacked.

That made me gag too!! I was a vegetarian for years but started eating chicken and turkey when I got pregnant with my first. Now we make everything with either chicken or turkey, even replacing it for ground beef in things like meatloaf. With all Kate's harping about nutrition, I'm surprised she isn't using organic turkey or chicken, it's much healthier - and believe it or not, cheaper too!

I wondered about that, too. I watch FOX and Friends every morning before leaving for work at 7:15 AM CDT. There was no mention of the the Kon's. I just searched the FOX News website by typing "Gosselin" into their site search and nothing came up. When I typed in "sextuplets", these stories came up: (this has nothing to do with Kon, but WAS A CON by a Missouri couple who faked being pregnant with sextuplets)

Crazy...wonder if they are Kon fans and thought that if they had 'tups they would get all of that attention, too?!?!

Anyway, my point is that they were not on FOX and Friends this morning. Does anyone know why, if they changed the date, cancelled??

Oops...for some reason my post above doesn't show the full web addresses...I don't know how to post a link. I guess you could just go to www.foxnews.com and type in "sextuplets" like I did if you are interested in reading about the woman who faked being pregnant with sextuplets.

Sorry, I was busy today, with a 5 month in tow...coming back on now.....Maybe she could of said something about Beth, I believe Robin kept talking, didnt give her a chance?! If I recall right! It seemed Kate was a bit nervous during the cooking segment...her voice seemed a bit shaky...she was probably allowed a limited time to do her thing!! I dont know I think I just really like to see the "good" in people too much!!!! Instead of always looking and or thinking the worst!!

i watched the cooking segment and she said cook about an hour or until it is no longer pink in the middle.

Could someone please send MK's Quick List to the Gosselins? It's clear and concise, taking the thinking and decision making out the equation-even J/K should be able to follow along.

If the girls are missing multiple days of school, the school authorities should be monitoring and documenting the absences. My kids have always attended private school...if kids miss too much school(as designated by the state) parents are put on notice. In CA private schools adhere to state guidelines in # of days of instruction/year required.

Guess J/K can't use the excuse that the girls need to miss school d/t a previously scheduled work engagement.

I think it's hysterical how Kate is trying to pass herself off as an "expert." She's an "expert" at cooking, she's an "expert" at organization, she's an "expert" at parenting (yeah, right!). IMO, the only thing she's an expert at is scamming decent, church-going folks out of their hard, earned money.

We are just commenting on what we see, which is hours and hours and hours of footage showing KON's true colors.

BTW, what's up with your hyper use of punctuation (? and !). Kate tends to overuse the ! in many of her written comments , and yes, comments have been made about that also.
