Liars, liars, pants on fires

In my first post, I said that I started becoming disillusioned with Jon & Kate, when it became clear that their claims of no college funds were false.

If you would like to confirm that there are TAP accounts set up for the Gosselin children, or you want to donate to them, follow these instructions:

If you would like to make a contribution to the Gosselin Family’s TAP account, you can do so by making your check payable to “TAP 529,” writing “Gosselin” in the memo portion of the check, and sending your contributions to: Gosselin Sextuplets and Twins Accounts, TAP Bureau, 218 Finance Building, Harrisburg, PA 17120. More information on the Tuition Account Program can be obtained by calling 1-800-440-4000 or by visiting the Treasury website and clicking on Tuition Account Program.

Nobody knows how much has been donated - and that really isn't the point of this post. The point is, as of June 15, 2008, the Gosselins are still claiming there are no funds!

They are liars through and through. They call themselves Christians, but don't live a Christian life. They will lie and cheat and do whatever they think they need to do to keep the freebees coming. They are ignoring the fact that a college fund is set up for their kids and plead poverty to their sheeples at their talks. Makes people dig deeper into their pocket to give to these liars. The people giving will never make as much in a lifetime as Jon and Kate have right now. They should be ashamed of themselves.

While Kate is a shrew, belittles Jon, doesn't really pay enough attention to her children, and is terribly obnoxious about things like the spa and being organic, the thing that bothers me the most is the talks they give where they lie, lie, lie. They lie about the grandparents, they lie about having no money, they lie about Jon losing his now two jobs where it used to be one, and they lie about having been in such abject need.

They lie to fleece the unknowing who have less than they do and that I can't overlook. It just looks so much like carnival barkers fleecing the crowd to me. They appear to deliberately make their talks sound like they've been through such terrible times (worse than what they actually were) and don't say oh by the way we're quite well to do now thanks to TLC and all the money we get paid and product placements. No, they pass the plate or basket and churches sometimes suggest a minimum "donation" to the greedy Gosselins. Would they do the talks if no one gave them money? I don't object to them being paid for talks but I do object to them not being honest in them leading people to think they are in actual NEED. Now the latest scheme is to charge $20 (in cash only please) for a picture that costs them a dollar or maybe even less to have made up. Kate wants an empire with books, DVDs, photos and such. I'm not going to help her get it.

I almost laughed out loud in the episode where Kate was going on about how they can't afford things like hair plugs for Jon and tooth whitening treatments. How stupid do they think people are? They have their own television show for crying out loud. I can't believe they kept a straight face when they were saying they can't afford things because they are just regular people. And then they have the audacity to ask people who actually work for their money to give them donations after they speak? That's pretty pathetic IMO.

I still can not forget when the kids were sick and she made them lay on the floor in the laundryroom like dogs. I'd never treat my children, husband or my dogs like Kate treats her family!
